Jesus isn't God, doesn't claim to be God and doesn't want to be worshipped.

Herod Antipater, the father of Herod the Great, is not mentioned in the New Testament, but ten of his descendants played major roles in the lives of Jesus and of the apostles.

The Herod family were Idumeans. That is, they were descended from Abraham through Isaac and Esau, rather than through Isaac and Jacob. They saw themselves as Jewish, participating in God's covenant with Abraham, but their ancestors had not gone to Egypt with Joseph or returned with Moses and Joshua.

How is it that a person came to power in Israel that was that was no related to Joseph or returned with Moses and Joshua?

Dear Kashai,

I do not write this for anything but to help you understand. As you asked a question.

Now the question was about Joseph.

Please understand, while he was the favored child of Jacob, or Israel, thru Rebecca. He was not the person thru whom the seed would come. Because it was foretold it would come thru Judah's seed.

Do you not remember?

16 Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master.

17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.

^^ THIS says that Jesus wasn't God.

I think that someone just called me an antichrist. Well, if staying true to Jesus teachings makes me an antichrist, I plead guilty.

None of those verses show Jesuscclaiming to be God or wanting worship.

As far as the word of God manifesting itself in the form of a prophet, that whole non judaic concept comes from the Zend Avesta, Zoroastrianisms sacred texts. Greek, Persian and Jewish concepts run throughout Christianity. You didn't think that was a Jewish concept, did you?

If Jesus has a God, the same God as us, even prays to God, then were he to be God also, then God might have a God. Does God have a God?

Do you understand irony? There is no THE Antichrist. That's just what people call (erroneously) the beast 666 of Revelation.

I asked is Jesus the Antichrist because I want people to actually realize this.

Call a spade a spade, call the beast the beast.

And because today's Christ is God, 2000 years ago he was just the Messiah/Christ, so today's Jesus IS the anti messiah or antichrist because you can't be God AND a prophet AND the Messiah.

You never even answered my question? Jesus prays to God in scripture, not to himself. If a God prays to another God as Jesus did then you have a hierarchy of Gods meaning you are a polytheist.

None of those prove Jesus is God, not at all.

Jesus has a God. He admits that. So God has a God?

Sure they do...
The human part of Jesus did need to pray to the Father...
I don't expect you to understand that...
He was both fully human and fully God...

Does God ever pray to Jesus? Or anyone? No, and why? Because he's God, and God doesn't have a God. But Jesus does. He wasn't praying to himself.

But I don't expect you to understand that.

I don't need a linkk, I have a bible. I have read it and still read it every day. I know what it says, and I know what it doesn't.

It doesn't say Jesus is God, just the Messiah. Jewish Messianic prophecy never said he'd be God, just like Jesus himself never claims to have any power that wasn't GIVEN HIM by God.

Jesus fully admits to being inferior to God, do you deny this? " Only God is good" or "Only the Father knows..." are two phrases said by Jesus that show he is not equal to God.

You aren't trying to answer me. Jesus admits inferiority to God. So he can't be God, because he says he isn't even good, never mind God.

I blame it on the schools.

John 5:18 (NASB95)

18 For this reason therefore the Jews were seeking all the more to kill Him, because He not only was breaking the Sabbath, but also was calling God His own Father, making Himself equal with God.
