Bingo.

Color is how weak minded people identify themselves and others because its quick and easily validated. The skin is symbolized through conditioning to represent the real problem that in fact exists underneath it. Color lets us accuse from a distance the worth of a human without any substantive interaction. A true act of devolution.

Yes. Yes they do.

I think everyone on ATS is treated the same, no prejudices here. Everything, everyone, is up to interpretation and debate.

We can't control our prejudice thoughts, it's acting upon them that can be controlled.

I don't really see color, I notice it, but I don't take it for as a strong factor in my inner prejudices. I usually have a good gist of people just from examining them and I know there are people that I just don't like very much. Although, I don't treat those people differently as long as they don't overstep on my well-being or the well-being of the other people around.

I also don't really understand why racism is this prevalent in society. I really wish that people will soon "get over it" and move on.

It’s certainly not due to the lack of protests by the #NativeLivesMatter movement, as there are many of those. In fact, several of the Native American activists within the movement have been killed by police, causing even more outrage in the community.

Where is the outrage in the media for Native Americans?


Why is this not part of the narrative? Because blacklivesmatter is exclusionary. Exclusionary movements alienate people. The movement is, by design, not involving everybody.

That's right. Once we look past the conditions, the individuals and the causes, and instead infer from the races of the individuals, we ourselves have fallen into racism.

I apologize for the one post reply to all of you. I apologize for not responding sooner. Had a family emergency and this is my first opportunity to respond.

I realize my OP is fairy tale and cliche in content. I am sure that there are many "colors" of people that have been ostracized or discriminated against over the years in every civilization and each and every one of them have a right to protest their own treatment by the offending parties.

I wrote this as a way to release my frustration over the continued separation that we have from each other, not just with color, but with religion, politics and sexual preferences.

Having debate and dialogue or differences of opinions is fine and dandy except when they cross a line into violence and a mob mentality that transcends simple protest. When people are killing each other or even just hurting each other over these issues it is nonsensical.

I know most people understand what I am saying, but there will always be those that think the only way to bring about change is to commit violence. There will always be those that refuse to accept change. It is not my intent to infringe on anyone's right to have their own beliefs or to prevent them from being individuals.

We can treat all with respect and still have a difference of opinion. We can still be individuals and come together as one. We can learn to love each other for all our inequities. It is a choice we all can make. All lives do matter and there is one group that deserves our attention more than others; children. Remember, whatever decisions we make as a society impact innocent children with absolutely no say over decisions being made all around them daily, but they will be the one's left to pick up the pieces as with every generation.

Our parents left us this world and we will leave this world to our children, I just want it to be the very best possible version allowed, a world based on love and acceptance, not hatred and denial.

You are right , we all have same blood, but in real life some of us gets more privilege. That was in past, and that will be in future !
