CDC Investigation of Chipotle Further Supports Corporate Sabotage

Seems like things got a bit off topic with discussion about NN as a source (not going there, at least not in this thread).

However, the CDC really did release their final update on the investigation in which they confirmed they were unable to determine a likely source of either outbreak. Interestingly enough, reading the overview of the investigation, 7 of the 54 people in the larger outbreak didn't actually eat at a Chipotle at all.

What it does say is that testing at the affected stores did not actually identify STEC O26 (the strain of Ecoli that sickened everyone). Chipotle stores have been upping their safety standards, but it may not be enough when they don't know how Ecoli got in the door in the first place.

I suppose it is not unreasonable to think that Chipotle might have been the subject of a bioterror attack. The American food supply has been weak for a long time.

The way Chipotle does up food buffet style would open it to attack.

However, to jump to a conclusion that 1.) It was attacked (already a major supposition) and then 2.) That attack had to be corporate espionage (when there are many potential sources of attack from people looking to sow terror) and then 3.) The attack was born out of anger over the specific sources used by the company so attacked ... Makes this a really long chain of what ifs.

And the fact that the CDC could not positively source the contamination does not in any way support any of those suppositions.

i blame poor hygine at chipolte the owner seems like a dick and really when you serve food that has been sitting around wrapped in foil for hours in a warmer you got to expect food poisoning. and didn't chipolte try to blame it on the people they were getting their non gmo foods from?
