Billionaires didn't do that for you.

Consumers did. Someone BOUGHT something from the place you work for.

That place would exist without mega-corporations. Even if you work for a mega-corp, someone could replace it with a smaller business.

Lots of small businesses = flourishing economy. Mega-corps = dying middle class - literally, and financially.

I cannot prove it, but it's been my thought process for many years.

I believe in what benefits the most. Not what CAN benefit someone... So I guess I do believe more in equal slices of pie, to unequal people, but only because the other way around.. The people that DEEM THEMSELVES more worthy, just take the whole pie and leave you the crumbs. This is not logical... That is not material, nor equality before the law.

A job should not logically exist if it cannot support a person. A person should logically deny such a position, leveraging the business to either close, or become more reasonable in their offer.

Maybe.

You forget that Walmart and Target and others like them already exist. They've already laid the groundwork and done the hard job of jumping through hoops that government regulations put in their way AND they existed long before the current government regulatory regime.

The regime we have in place now is antithetical to business growth. If it weren't, we'd have a booming economy all over, but we don't. It's barely eeking along and even the very large employers are having trouble.

I could be working full-time right now, but that job does not exist for me. Why? Because there is NO business creating that job.

Right. What they are now does not reflect how they got there - But I truly believe in a flourishing economy, someone could come up with a great idea, and threaten walmarts ( If not only locally ) but.. There's no chance.

Walmart uses their super-status to leverage extremely low prices from manufacturing companies.
They pay the lowest wages possible for the work done - Huge amount of employees on welfare.
They have so many lawsuits against them for every reason you can think of.

Sam Walton is an example of the American dream.

Current day Walmart is not.

You're assuming that people are unhealthy because they don't have insurance. The problem is you're dead wrong. People have insurance and are too lazy to go to the doctor and plain just don't care about their health. They'd rather eat fast food three times a day and drink a gallon of Coke then expend an iota of energy living a healthy lifestyle.

Big cities are not natural. I will never believe they are sustainable.

Higher crime, more racial issues, extreme political ideology is often born in large cities...

Disease, natural disasters...

Places like Wal mart and Target overbuilt stores. Now they are closing many.

Wal mart gave as little hours as they could, paid as little as they could and gave seminars on how their employees could apply for food stamps and medicaid. Wal mart went around local environmental laws and dumped waste in nearby streams and rivers.

I don't have much knowledge about target, but I know Wal mart has always been a bad actor and the government didn;t cause their greed. Wal mart is definitely not a good job creator. They are a drain on the system for their own greed.
