My ABSOLUTE favorite movie of all time...well, in that genre...The love and loyalty between the characters, the strength of the women, the end with
Idgy...(we had a beagle named Idgy and she was just as messy and "wild" as the character, aptly named!)
I haven't been able to watch it since Mom passed but, today (of all days) Indieplex showed it and we were all over it!
So much of it resonates with me...all of it...my life...LOL...typing through the tears...
Anyhow, here's some of my favorite scenes.
Assertiveness Training Class For Southern Women! Ha!
Yes! Like you, this is one of the movies I have't been able to watch again since my mother passed away. Funny how aspects of grieving pop up in ways
you never expected.
Anyway, wonderful movie with an ending just twisted enough for me to cherish.
I'd have to say it's my favorite in that genre, too. A beautiful study of a relationship. Watching the first and last clips reminds me of my
friendship with my lifelong best friend. She died of cancer not too long ago. I was just thinking of her yesterday. And Kathy Bates was so funny!
