Thoughts As I Approach...10,000 Stars

I have noticed that I'm nearing 10,000 stars!
"Big deal" you say, but to me it is.

Every star I've received here has bolstered my confidence enough to keep writing. Without that, I likely wouldn't have learned/experienced so much...or met the amazing/funny/brainy people that I have come to love.

I feel like a nobody here, and mostly type away believing that only a handful of friends are reading my words. Lately I'm starting to get the impression that I might have more friends here than I know. *does happy dance*

I have no problem admitting that I am a big fan of many who write on this site...a big fan! I fall in love with that combination of smart/funny, and for whatever reason...this place is chock full of that!

So thank you. For being you...for being here...and for (almost) 10,000 stars.
