Sonic booms heard in NJ

People were calling in to report strange noises and were told they were sonic booms from aircraft. The only thing is, there was no documented test flights for the evening. Now the story is Navy jets were doing test runs but initially there was broad denial of any sort of aircraft in the area that could have caused the noises. Just interesting. Maybe nothing but figured I'd report on it in case you guys missed the news.

It was most likely an F-35C from Pax River. It took some time to verify that they went supersonic.
