It's funny how sad it is when a cop retires and has to bid for his dog, then the cops are all weepy about separating a dog and its handler. But if it's a "citizen's dog"? Pew pew pew murica.

I'm glad I have 2 dogs.
I can rest easier knowing at least one them will get them by the throat.
The cops in the US have gone insane, especially in the big cities.
In all seriousness I think periodic psychological testing is in order.
The danger of their work may push many over the edge of critical thinking and clear judgment.
Steroid testing is also a must as that raises aggression levels severely.

I say full Psych-evaluation annually, and every drug test imaginable, random but assured, bi-annual. Test hair, blood and urine.
