But it can also be viewed as the 'way to enlightenment' through the school of hard knocks, which I dare say, this Earth is the perfect example for that.

Meaning you first have to get attached to your critter, before "it" moves on?
I am overwhelmed right now, but once I find my next question I'll let you know.

If I were you I would stop that. Maybe you have to follow a certain path to know what he is talking about, but it is coherent, inspiring and very gentle given the area of what is discussed.

My friend,

People assume that the Universe is only here to please them and to turn them into Gods. Most people try to pick through what I say, to glean some sort of personal path for themselves, which is what it is.. I mean, you can find total enlightenment reading the back of a box of cracker jacks if you are very lucky.

I'm not here to be anyone's guru.. I'm a failed shaman, passing on some notes, so that I'm not an asshole who takes it all to the grave.

Listen.

Listen carefully.

That "Divine Child", Tulpa, "parasite" or "soul" that everyone is so keen on developing..

You aren't supposed to "lay claim to it"

(if you try to save your soul you will lose it!)

Yes, even the failed Christian clock is right twice a day.

Or to quote doctor Phil --- "It's not ABOOOUUTTTT YOUUUUU!"

Well it is in small part. But just in small part.

We all are prone to "fighting the Universe" - trying to get our way and prevent death and whatever else we are trying to accomplish... and our "tool" is that "DC, tulpa, "soul"), etc.

But it's not OUR tool.

It has other functions.

That's the grand secret of the ages.. the medicine everyone refuses.

So what do you do after learning that? After being forced to give up the baby?

I don't fracking know for sure yet!

OK!

I'm getting some clues..

But I'm just after birth here.. trying my best.

Hey -- I have to go to work.

But I felt a wave of love for you, so I had to write this. Thought it might help.

Bye!

Oh I get it and was "talking past you to others" too! I do that a whole lot .. .crazy person shorthand.

Now, I know you've already explained this elsewhere, but I'd like it broached again... the "soul/no soul" concept.

As I see it, we're partial extrusions of the whole into temporary meat suits.. .drops of/in an ocean.

If, down here in humanville, we're composite beings (but basically just a tendril(s) from the whole) and most of what we commonly perceive as "us" are really critters, then why does that distinction matter... when we perceive the whole as us, anyway? I hope I am understood... but I guess I'm asking for basic clarification.

The pieces that compose a human get confused and stuck in a rut, and suffer enormous pain for untold millenia.

Some collections of pieces who are waking up to their true composition care about that on the way out of the building..
some don't.

There IS enormous off the scale love and beauty too.. I don't know precisely where all the pieces will go, and what form they will choose next.. maybe it will be all "Unicorns and My little Pony's".

But it's a group decision.. I don't get to pick.. in fact this "I" is nearly done.. I await to see whether I"ll be a turd or a god the next time I wake up and realize it's me again.

I WOULD like to cobble together a gift out of all this madness.. but I don't know whether that's in the script or not.

I gotta run.

Aww geez, *hugs* Kev.

It's all good, how would you know? For quite a while I've been a "chit-chat queen" around here, lol.
I have avoided serious threads/discussions (cuz Life was serious enough), and the mystical/magical stuff that I adore.

I'm not a devotee of anything besides cigarettes & coffee at this point.
Will "try on" a theory, to see how it feels...then later either accept some belief, or discard entirely and move on.
(I like to think that keeps me open minded.)

...and all on our own path.
But you started a really interesting discussion here, thanks a lot. Finally something where it isn't one guy trying to convince everybody else to bend to his bias.

The critter part was something in response to another discussion, it was about archons, angels/demons, ghosts etc. you know the unseen ones. I have caught something but it defies definition so far.
All I know for sure is: reality is real and while sometimes weird experiences happen, it still doesn't prove it isn't more or less just psychological. I always like to refer to the poltergeist phenomen: it is mostly/always attached to the person, not the place, or a time.

This soul thing and the quantum observer just shows (to me) that our brain waves out some sort of energy not examined and understood. But no matter how hard I try: it is not reproducable. Does that make it not real? Or am I just missing some compound, I haven't found yet?
Yes I am a magician, of sorts, but really just interested in the mixture, not so much in the outcome. Focusing these energies is the key, but the obstacle is: reality. You can't turn off the voice saying: "It never worked before", the only response for that is: Uri Geller.
Sorry if that comes across rasmbling, but like i said: interesting topic.

Everything IS psychological ... pretty much the whole occult show, right there! But I get ya.

As far as weirdness being attached to mental rather than physical (and leaving the concept they are the same for a moment)... yeah and nay. I went through a completely non weird period that was only broken by physically moving into "haunted" environs... but again, that was (likely) due to a (likely) lingering portion of a mental construct/emotionally charged event.

So... good discussion, indeed... thanks for making it so.

Does 'belief' or 'lack of belief' affect the 'reality' though?

How can you say that 'reality is the obstacle' when impossible things DO happen in reality? (please understand, I'm not arguing with you....kind of agreeing, and trying to take it further)

I've never bent a spoon (haven't really tried) but other things have happened.
I feel that what you are trying to question, is also what I'm trying to question....but the words, the words are hard to find.

Hi banshee
Where are those stones from? they're fascinating and beautiful, has an Aboriginal look to them, well for me personally.

When i was "receiving" the symbols i felt nothing,i strictly just waited to see if/what would come. I had no preconceived notion,i was just open to whatever came. My intent was to just see what came through,if anything, and to think later of what it could signify. I'm not awfully good at multitasking, especially mentally. When i drew them i was concentrating on getting it right,so again, there was'nt really time/scope for analysis. Once i got them down,i got the feel of an alphabet? But of course i could be dead wrong,i honestly i haven't the foggiest idea-just my own personal impression that it may be part of an alphabet.

Then later my lil son said about "that's a medical word you speak with the aliens" and again, admittedly i can be pretty slow
So i posted these pics years ago on a Starseed site,a while after he said that, and someone pointed out that the blocks (which i drew as accurately as possible according to memory) reminded them of DNA sequencing. So the penny only dropped then.How/why my 4/5 yo son would glance briefly at the page and say that's a medical word you speak with the aliens-well i did'nt touch that statement with a barge pole. And he walked away,i could see it was out of his mind the moment he walked off because he was busy playing, also i did not want to influence him in any way, suggest anything etc.

Ya i Was curious as hell,of Course, but i had the intuition i should not ask him,and just leave it be.So i asked him nothing about the statement he made.

Morning fair Bean (and I just ground up a cupful of beans for my morning dose of speed).

Speaking of coffee... cups and rings... from coffee cups and wet rings to the mentioned neolithic carvings... what is up with that common etching on rocks? The answers are as varied as people because the info is so sparse!

But I've wondered what and why regarding those markings... it was pretty important unless there was an easier way to carve rocks millennia ago!

Language is the first guess, but half-remembered papers found no obvious information pattern held in them. So... ???

You ground a bean? Bastard.

I'm pretty convinced they are representations of the stars, just like I believe that most of our ancient stories are stories of the stars. For anyone who likes Celtic stories, and how they relate to the celestial world this is a great article.

For example:

The constellation of Gemini is seen by the Celts not as twins but as two men battling over the love of a woman. They are Gwyn and Gwyrthur, the sons of Greidawl who seek the hand of the lady in red, Creudyladd. Ladies in red are seen in modern times as of dubious repute, but in ancient times red was the colour a bride wore as an outward expression of her virginity.
This story has become synonymous with Sir Gawain and the Green Knight in Arthurian legend and is referred to in the folk song, “Green grow the rushes oh”.
In Celtic traditions, Gwyn and Gwyrthur are known as the “Rivals of May” and are interpreted as being the light and dark halves of the year battling it out as they set at midnight on the first of May, the Celtic feast of Beltane, the start of the summer season and hence important agriculturally for the growth and harvest of crops.

These are stories to remember the stars, when the sun rises in them, which season that will be. They become our cosmic guardians; just gazing at Orion in the Winter sky gives us a sense of how miniscule we are in scheme of things.

So, you're right (in my opinion), these carvings were language - each symbol is packed with meaning and information and we tagged on some extra stuff to make the stars real to us, to give them human attributes so that we could begin to relate to something so overwhelmingly immense as to be unrelateable.

I think.

Hello Rax - you can say my name, I'm so excited.

No, they're just Scottish neolithic stones, nothing so glamorous as aboriginal, I'm afraid.

A medical word you speak to aliens? That's a very strange and specific thing to say, I guess he recognised that they looked like letters, but medical is odd. I know what you mean about not wanting to ask him more, but you must have very good willpower not to question him a wee tiny bit!

They do look a bit alphabety too though, I see what you mean. Have you ever seen them since?

So my Wraith story.

I need everyone's input and help in this thread trying to figure out what this next experience I'm about to relay was about. I'm asking you guys for help on this one because I'm open minded enough to know that I don't really know. So, i'm hoping for a little bit of brainstorming from you guys so we can bounce some ideas back and forth and explore what my wraith sighting could have been.

Back when I was a teen I lived in a small three bedroom house in a decent neighborhood of whats known as "The Valley" in Los Angeles. It's technically named the San Fernando Valley.

Anyways, so this house had a pretty nice backyard with a swimming pool and jacuzzi a concrete patio leading to the back door off the TV room. The swimming pool was dead center in the back yard with a small garden beyond it. In between the swimming pool and the back of the house where the TV room was there was a relatively large cement and brick lined patio.

The Patio was square shaped and the house L shaped. the Patio being the empty space in the crook of the "L" On one side of the patio was a cinder block painted white sidewall separating our side of the property from the neighbors. On the other side a pair of French doors that lead to the TV room which made one of the arms up in that 'L" shape the house was in.

Hoping I'm describing the yard with enough fidelity for you guys to be able to picture it.

Some nice purple blossoming agapanthus lining the pool, which was organic in shape. It sorta resembled snoopy's head from the side with the jacuzzi being his nose. And only 6 feet deep making it easy to heat up to 90 degrees when the parents were out of town in a matter of hours. You know for impromptu pool parties you're not supposed to throw when the parents leave.

I used to enjoy standing on the far side of the backyard past the pool and practice my Karate Katas. I think I was testing for my Red Belt at the time and was reviewing material nightly to get ready. I was a major Martial Arts geek at the time and was into all things martial arts. So off by myself I'd practice, attempt to meditate etc on the far end of the backyard.

So with the back story out of the way here's what went down.

It was about 8:00 or so at night or early evening. I know it was dark out. Maybe sometime in the fall. I had just spent about 30 minutes meditating. And I knew dinner was going to be served soon so I was wrapping things up.

While standing and looking around the backyard I saw a flash and for some reason I was compelled to look up. Momentarily, the night sky was a negative image of it's self. The black of the sky being sepia and the stars like pinpricks of blackness.

Something got my attention from my right towards the house and the patio. I naturally turn to look, and out of the white painted cinder block wall at about knee level, a large beach ball sized oil like blob oozed out of the wall like it was travelling through it coming from my neighbors back yard into ours. The section of the wall it came out of was directly lit up with a floodlight that illuminated the concrete patio. The surface of this blob resembled a oil droplet with a kaleidoscope of rainbow pearlescence shimmering on it.

The second it was clear of the wall it instantly changed form into a man briefly crouching who almost immediately stood up. When he did he was now 100% matte black. All the oil like patterns were gone. Instead it looked like a athletic and muscular guy standing 6 foot tall in a flat black full body suit or stocking. Hood and all. No light reflected off of him even though he was standing on the concrete patio now and fully illuminated by the flood light. In fact he was so matte that he seemed darker than dark like he was absorbing all light.

Right after it stood up it started to stride deliberately towards the french doors in the TV room. I'm just standing there in shock. About two or three steps it stops mid stride and freezes and slowly turns to face me and cocks it's head slightly to the side as if just noticing me and equally confused as to my presence. I notice he has no shadow on the ground, still fully illuminated in that flood light.

Momentarily were standing at each other making direct eye contact. Him across the pool in between me and the house and safety. Trapped. If he wanted me he coulda gotten me. But his body language wasn't hostile. Just equally as befuddled.

Although this guy had no facial features. No eyes, mouth, nothing. But, it was obvious we were making direct eye contact.

Then after a moment he turns in place strides back to the same spot on the wall he came out of, crouched down and blip! instantly turned back into that oily irridescent blob and oozed back into the wall and disappeared.

I stand there for a second stunned and then dash towards the house. I was so frantic to get inside, lest this thing came back, that I ran across the spillway between the jacuzzi and the pool (That little wall where the jacuzzi water spills over into the pool) and fled into the house.

I was wary to go into the backyard alone for several months after that. Especially at night. And especially to the far end of the back yard where I could get trapped. Eventually I got over it and I also never saw the guy again.

This was the same house as the orb incident I relayed in a previous thread a while ago.

Things that left me unsettled about the incident. IT went strait and deliberately for the back door. That worried me. What if it hadn't noticed me and stopped. Would it have gone inside? Did it turn around and head back because it was busted?

On the other hand his body language wasn't menacing, and he seemed as weirded out as I was by the experience. Maybe to him I looked just like him and he looked normal and was like "WTH is that! I'm out! I tell you this place gets weirder and weirder every day."

So what was that all about?

Were we two different guys from different dimensions or realities temporarily overlapping or interacting. And he only appeared that way in my reality as a matte black figure because of that. And maybe I appeared the same to him. Just a normal guy who sees a "wraith" (me) while going about his business and went nope and turned around. While I nearly did the same.

Was he some nasty or malicious entity sneaking around the property for who knows what reason?

Had he been there before?

Was it some weird hallucination brought on by the earlier meditation? (no hadn't done any drugs at that time in my life)

was it a ghost?

A demon?

An alien?

I'll hand the conversation over to you guys now to figure out, cause I certainly don't know. I'll be lurking to answer any question or to clarify any details.

So throw some Ideas at me what do you think I saw that evening all them years ago.

Thanks for that.. .I was right there with you, seeing it!

That was, of course, a Sonoran style Yaqui witch stalking another family member... I see a female and conflicts over a man.

I am kidding... of course, of course.

But really, the fauna out there that doesn't have physical bodies (as we know them) seems varied... maybe more varied than their embodied brethren. So human sorcerer, or dimensional critter are fine guesses... one common factor for the bulk of these sightings are critters of various forms all seemingly busy doing various impenetrable things to us humans... frequently involving energy manipulation... for or despite our benefit remains a puzzler, too.

I eagerly await other views as well.

That's an excellent story! And I believe you.

This line is the proof:

"Momentarily, the night sky was a negative image of it's self. The black of the sky being sepia and the stars like pinpricks of blackness."

That's the moment your brain became ready to receive the "alternate perception source".

That same thing happens before most high strangeness 'UFO' sightings as well....just like my infamous BTUFO sighting.

The mechanism is related to the 'night terror' brain circuits....that's why I constantly ask people about them.

As for the black blob?

Most Humans incubate those in their stomach;
Its their home....they live there.

They are like friendly intestinal biota;
Most never assume human form....unless
The person they live with is a natural
Shaman (probably belongs to you).

Believe me..not believe me....I don't care.
You asked....I answered.

Two things occur to me... one, that sepia/negative thing is unfamiliar to me (not that that means a thing) but I haven't seen full on "apparitions" but a couple of times.. . seeing weird stuff is veeeeery rare with me. Most of the odd stuff remained invisible, and I also don't have night terrors.. .well, once, maybe, but I was as awake as ever for that bedroom bed-presser.

And two.. .you termed it like a "beneficial gut flora" ...so some of our (alleged) composite energy critters can be seen as beneficial?

Bed presser? I guess I missed where you were talking about that. What do you mean?

The reason I ask is I've lived in quite a few haunted places. In some of them, I've had experiences of being touched while I was trying to sleep. Some unseen thing would press down on me, not my whole body but like somebody was poking me through the blankets. It was an eerie sensation.

I glossed over/excluded several weird instances in my OP for space, so the "bed presser" wasn't mentioned, probably mentioned it in my "appearing pennies" thread... two years ago I awoke to weirdness in the wee hours... was wide awake but the natural dimethyltriptomines were coursing through me, making the light (that was on) intense and the walls 'crawling and moving' with an hallucinatory aura (from being awakened during REM I'd think), and I felt a presence and then saw my bedspread depress and felt a hand on my feet... not hallucinatory in the least... I was wide awake and aware at that point...

the weirdest thing was I laughed, rolled over and went back to sleep... no idea why, but sleepily kinda knew what it was, but cannot remember it now.

So... yeah.

eta: and your being touched experience is very, very common... I've had my hair "flipped" or "flicked" every so often... like once every couple years. Unmistakable feeling and once saw it happen in a mirror, heh.

There Is variation between people's experiences of Course.

The more visible apparitions are usually in people who were abused as children.

You for whatever reason process things as doesn't want to commit between logic and feeling (IMHO).

As for beneficial......yah most "spirits" are more symbiotic than parasitic...

There are always ass hat's too though....especially In the 'stomach chakra' if we must use such an ignorant and deceptive term.

People with suppressed anger and depression issues often build a 'black sludge monster' there which can get feisty.

One more point....all this stuff is 10% physics and 90% psychology as others have said in so many terms.
