To be honest when it comes to the actions the government actually takes? I can't tell one from the other excpet in all the arguing and stale mates over who's pet project of an experiment is going to be enacted on us all whether we like it or not; while neither side really care about the issues spouted during election as they are just the same talking points used to divide the people against ourselves... they could end the debate on many of these hot debated issues... but instead theyve rubbed the same ones in our faces decade after decade because without them as a divide both sports teams would look and function exactly the same as they do already.

No matter how horrible the previous sitting presidents policies or crimes are the one coming in pardons the previous; to save them from any possible prosecution; and cabinet members of all sorts either employ plausible deniability or say they were just doing the job the position called for resign then step to the side to do the exact same crap within another agency.

This is why I am looking at democratic socialism... only this time instead a president being stonewalled by a specific not getting their special corporate sponsor privy but another corporate sponsor privy instead... he'll likely be stone walled by both parties and of course to get anything at all done to swing this country back around undoing a lot of corporate influenced damage that has muted citizens voices he'll likely have to employ the executive order pen quite often.

Iran has had nukes for decades... I can certainly deal with Obamacare over the nuclear war that Romney and the other GOP were egging on hardcore during the last election would have brought about. As the GOP diplomacy involves blow up anything and everything with a different ideology, the democrats are not much different except they have what a singular diplomat John Kerry running around smoothing things out so the economy can recover at least a tad while pulling of secret missions and using drones and alternative forces for the dirty deeds. At least some service members get a break from the 14 year madness even though once out they have little to show from it other than PSD gulf war syndrome and very little support for their effort in moving these ill bred agendas along.

On the bright side if we divert taxes into social programs at home to actually benefit we the people instead of they the corporation and their desire of a quasi global manifest destiny for profit that politicians are very happy to take a bite of as noted in the OP... instead of constantly flushing trillions down the abroad toilet in the name of national security while playing world police, with little to nothing to show for it... we might have to actually become "conservative" in our spending on foreign affairs and *gasp* use diplomacy, tolerance, and understanding and if needed sanctions to resolve conflict if we even get into it to begin with... of course as partner country we have all these duties to other countries that range across the board for all sorts of things from millions of dollars in condoms sent to Africa to billions to Israel for their national security just the name a few.

Dont get me wrong, Ive nothing against other countries; but our focus as a nation hasnt been on the home front since Kuwait in 1990 of course before then we had quite a few skyjackings in the 70's through the early 80's it seemed as if it was a weekly occurrence... why they never secured airlines before the towers fell is beyond me. But common sense is rarely common and typically costs more than few cents to learn the lesson.

Any way more of the same jibber jabber from a corporate crony and other known cronies or someone that has been repeating what this country needs to do to turn this all around and join the rest of the world... as the US keeps falling further and further behind since politicians have collectively wiped their butts with the constitution and bill of rights for a very long time in the name of personal profit. I personally dont want to see the civil war that is bound to occur if a Trump or Hillary land their greedy feet into the whitehouse. As an independent someone that doesnt care about party lines just want someone do their damn job and represent the people as they should based on what the majority of people want and not anything they arent asking for? It has been a choice of the lesser of two evils for quite a few election cycles now, well imho we finally get a choice other than the lesser of two evils.

Yes I know others have ran under other party lines; but the way our system is setup there is no way any party other than DEMO or REPUB would have a snowballs chance in hell at winning because there's not enough people that could represent them in the electorate that appoints the electors as it is all based on parties. Anyway, I'm not voting because this whole damn system is broken and corrupted but Sanders is who I'd like to see elected if for anything something different than the same two ideologies with the same type of talking head puppets talking out both sides of their mouths that wont listen to anyone unless they have the money honey cause then theyve got the time.

Oh well, it is what it is death is looking better and better as time marches on with this political madness ruining the world instead of making it better for everyone.

The people could bring the government to its knees if they had the guts to pull all of their money out of the corrupt banks and boycott as many corporations as possible and sit at home for 2 weeks stopping everything but essential life services. They would cave and at least we could get a better deal or if they went full Stalin see their true hand and have grounds for a legitimate uprising. I dream I know but maybe one day we can unite and show the 1% that 99% has the true power.

When Guliani high jacked the courts for his own gain he was hellbent of taking down the families for his own personal gain and he did- a real Life Harvey Dent. But out of the dozens of mobsters that were brought to justice, how many cops bribed cops and union officials were brought to justice? because It hit too close to home and the Hero that New York deserved didn't lift a finger to stop the corruption that was happening under his nose.

The C in RICO stands for Corruption and somehow that law did not expand to include crooked cops.

You know the drug lords rose in response to drug prohibition the same way mobsters rose with alcohol prohibition... one would think government wouldnt want to make that same costly mistake again... but what if it was on purpose? Black budget systems and projects need money lots and lots of untraceable money... where better to hide budgets and launder money for all sorts of projects and agendas than with a drug war that has to do the exact same thing? Nice cover to build totalitarian empires or anything else for that matter... something to ponder eh? This is a conspiracy site after all and this lil nugget certainly explains a lot of questionable government activities... if anyone reading this thinks the government is not for the people any more. I'm likely to die before goose stepping returns and have one heir so if so hey good luck with that we did it to ourselves... by not standing up to a government that likes to divide us on issues they rarely solve with a final ethical word on it.
