This verse is from revelations 22:16. "I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root of the offspring of David, and bright and morning star."

Is Jesus saying he is the morning star?

I think I know where you are going with this. Revelations 22:16 calls Jesus the morning star and Isaiah 14:19 calls Satan the morning star. I would like to know the answer to this myself. Im sure with some searching on Google we could find some opinions.

Found it. The problem is in the translation of the NIV bible. The KJV bible is more accurate in the Isaiah 14:19 verse.

Isaiah 14:12 (King James Version)

How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

The text calls Satan the son of the morning rather than the morning star.

My translation clearly says, Morning Star, plus daughter of the morning, as for that star. That clearly is about the morning star, but there is no connection to devil here, really, it is just prophet book.
All those luciferian mambo jumbo came later.
