Happy Holidays 2015!

That time of year is upon us again and like so many Americans we welcome the well wishes, the spirited attitudes and of course the holiday treats and gifts. If you're a parent, Christmas shopping can really frazzle your nerves if you wait until the last minute. That's okay though because a memorable day with your family on Christmas morning is well worth the extra preparations. In my family we do a gift exchange, drawing other family members' names, doing a get-together on Christmas eve with a jumbo turkey and all the fixins. You don't even have to be Christian to enjoy this special holiday and in fact the majority of Americans who celebrate Christmas aren't even religious. It's your chance to step into an alternate universe for a season and dress up your house in decor and lights. I think a lot of those folks who go through life rather plainly and ignore Christmas don't know what they're missin'. So, happy holidays. Go get someone a Hallmark card.

It's time to set aside our pitch forks, and ropes, and reflect on what is really important to us. Family,friends, acquaintance's.

Let's set aside our petty differences, and become what we all know what we can be.
