Climbers often feel the risks are worth it for them. The grieving children usually don't think so, but it's too late by then.

Abseiling off the end of the rope and knocking rocks down onto the heads of people below are well known dangers.

A lesser known yet seasonally relevant danger is this.

A friend had her life ruined when her father went climbing and died.

The first time my father went climbing the instructor fell off and died.

A famous last word after abseiling off the end of the rope was, "Shiiiiiiit!"

The serious message here is think twice and take precautions when in costume.
