2 students arrested after threat to Mountain Vista High School in Highlands Ranch

I didn't mention guns or ammo either I think you're not being logical. Nor am I making money merely observing a simple timeline of facts (granted, the "facts" as the major media are reporting them and the school district and sheriff are backing). Plainly enough, I stated my opinion which I do not make money from, and that is, I'd prefer erring to the side of caution and keep our kids out of school rather than send then while there is an active murder plot. This you may label hysteria. Fine. They are both being charged with murder. The media reports they felt the girls took a substantial step to act on it. The district knew on Saturday, no arrest until Monday, no notification to patents until Tuesday. I reserve the right to decide what's safe for my child; the district should provide facts to allow me to do that. No bond for teen girl in Mountain Vista High School murder plot

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. - One of the two teen girls accused of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder for an alleged plot at Mountain Vista High School made her first court appearance on Thursday morning.

The 16-year-old girl, whose name has not been released, was brought into court wearing shackles on her hands and feet. The judge told the girl she is on no-bond hold.

The judge said the filing of charges has been delayed for two weeks.

The judge ordered the first girl, and the second teen arrested in the case, be held at a separate facilities. The judge said the second girl is on a psychiatric hold.

Investigators said the school was notified of the threat over the Text-A-Tip line on Saturday. It's believed a student made the call. Officials said the plot was foiled on Sunday.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said it determined there was a credible threat and deputies arrested two 16-year-old females who attend Mountain Vista High School.

Both suspects are in "secured facilities," officials said.

The specific nature of the threats hasn't been released.
