Confused about intent?

Lately there have been a few threads on Islamic terrorist plots being foiled. I think they are an attempt to prove the admin is wrong for letting them in and somehow proves the vetting process does not work.

Buuut..does it not prove that the admin is doing it's job well enough that they are able to stop tragedies before they are happening?

It is crazy, how the anti Obama minds work. Stop ten or nine plots no credit for stopping them and in fact it somehow proves they are not doing their job. One gets through the cracks ( an American born one) and it somehow proves that allowing refugees in the country is a major threat.

Ten or more mass shooting attacks by mentally ill people gaining access to guns and that side says there is no need to be hasty about laws regarding guns but one radical does something and that side calls for extreme actions to be done and that all Muslims are a threat.

And apparently one is for the safety of fellow Americans and the other...well who cares about fellow Americans as long as I have mine.

Crazy...

There is a MASSIVE problem right now.

The administration IS wrong.

There is absolutely no way to know how many more are in this country.

The DHS whose job is suppose to 'protect' us from threats both foreign and domestic shirk their job and put politics ahead of national security interests.

We have laws about who can own guns. None of the new proposals would have stopped these events. Why make laws that don't solve problems?

Te security services only stop the attacks that they are not controlling.

You somehow think that any attempts at trying to make sure that mentally ill people don't have access to guns is somehow referring to all gun owners and think that you fall under that category.

So if the law isn't working just make new ones? Why not evaluate why they are not working so they can be fixed? The leftist answer, no matter the problem or if we understand how to correct the problem, is always more laws.

I would think if you take the problem seriously you would want to evaluate why the law isn't working rather than just use 'guess and check' legislation on it. That's how we end up with stupid laws like the 'assault' weapons ban. A bunch of people with no clue throwing legislation against the wall to see what sticks.
