Mocking Bird Hill

In 1977 on bus trip around Europe, this song was played each morning. It was a much faster rendition than just everything I've heard on YT trying to find it again.

It was sung by a bloke whose name I have long forgotten but the name Sydney and the northern star come to mind as I thought of the city and the star as a way remembering the artists name.

Many times I have searched YT from top to bottom hoping to strike it rich but no luck yet.

Would be funtastic if someone knows the version I'm trying to find and where to get it.
