Since you mentioned ww2, it's no different than the fear of communism after the war. If you even breathe the word red in conversation and you were put on a watch list. The paranoia was strong.

Only difference is, there actually is an army hell bent on dominating the world. Whether or not it was assisted by the very countries it wishes to dominate is irrelevant at this point. btw.

Anyone proudly displaying this sign on their property is an idiot.

How are their concerns not being addressed? American policy for the last decade has been driven by fear of Muslim terrorists and continues to this day.

He'll gain a few customers, he'll lose a few customers...

Que sera, sera...

Lol, I wonder how many he sold... Sounds like a losing proposition to me unless your entire customer base is redneck.

Disclaimer: No rednecks were hurt in the making of this post...

Yes, the responses would all be the same depending on what camp you're rooting for. Plenty of Christians complain there is a war on Christmas and plenty of posters on this site complain their Christian religion is constantly under attack right here on ATS but if I point out how Islam is being attacked all the sudden it's no big deal.

Love the pun btw.

Apparently their concerns are not being addressed because they are (your term) idiots.

The walker is probably just a front. Be afraid, be very afraid!

That is what I fear, so I guess if he gets within 50 feet of me I need to take him out...lol

Exactly. Patriot Act comes to mind.

Hey America, let's trade in our freedoms and rights for the illusion of security all brought to you by fear!

Very true, just recently they have been complaining that their abilities to find terrorist in America is hampered by not being able to monitor ALL communications in the country..ALL with no court order, nothing.

I'm sure it has also hampered them that they can not check everyone's ID at anytime, and they can not search every house too anytime they want..

Why feckless? Surely not because the don't buy these religiously intolerant signs or participate in religious bigotry towards all Muslims?

Political ideology is not the same as religious faith. In America, we're supposed to be tolerant of all religions since it's kinda what we've been founded on. Politics is politics, red v blue, it'll never change. During WWII, instead of focusing on the evil commies they should have been more focused on the evil Nazi's.

How do I add a inline photo? Only button I see is: add an image from you library and it does nothing.

But Islam is an ideology. It's a religious, cultural and political ideology. A theocracy. In all definitions it can be considered to be almost worse than communism.

He claims he has a lot of supporters and with today's present poltical climate and Muslim bigorty I'm sure he has a lot of customers. Combine that with any fears of laws being passed to further restrict guns and ammo his sales most likely have been skyrocketing.

Let's take a look at his other merchandise. Now imagine if a Muslim gun shop owner was doing the same thing against Christianity. Oh the horror!! Fox news would be all over him!

Mohammed Target (Picture this as Jesus)

Get your bumper sticker here! Make sure your car is a Muslim Free Zone now!

The above is not funny but this shirt is funny.

What are their concerns? How would this sign, bumper sticker, or t shirt address any of their concerns? Are you saying America isn't fighting a war against terrorism while passing draconian laws to prevent terrorism in the USA? Please, elaborate these concerns?

You know what it is, it's fear and bigotry. Those are my concerns and I'm addressing them.

You need a sign that states your property is a Walker-Free Zone. But be prepared for confusion as Walking Dead fans assume you mean zombies.

Either way, you should probably be armed at all times just in case elderly terrorism strikes you!

Surely, though, with freedom of speech comes responsibility as well?

Maybe you guys just aren't mature enough to play with the grown ups any more?

You can upload a saved picture from your computer/phone to your photo album here on ATS or you can just copy the image link into this [ ats ] link [/ ats ]. (there are no spaces between [ and ats. I added them so you can see the formula).

What do you think of my point that 'The Islamic Caliphate' is a 'Christian Free Zone' (as well as a Jew Free Zone, Homosexual Free Zone...).

I think it's a red herring. You're deliberately trying to take the focus off of one thing and project it on to another.

In doing so, you create the idea that both the "Muslim-free" sign and the Islamic Caliphate are somehow equal or similar. Both are rooted in ignorance and hatred, but while you try to justify the "Muslim-free" sign by proposing it could be interpreted as "this family in non-Muslim", you condemn the other for being "deadly".

That doesn't seem logical to me.

I don't think the two are comparable, but if that is the line of thinking you want to use, you are only defending the bigotry of those that agree with the "Muslim-free" signs by shoving the focus on to the bigotry of another.

On the contrary, I am on the record in this thread, far earlier, in fact, than you, in deriding this sign and the individual selling it.

Funny how my pointing out the fact that the sign's wording could be interpreted by some in a different way, due to it's wording, causes you to jump to the conclusion I was defending or justifying it.
You're appearing too knee-jerk, old chap...and, I'm sorry to say, guilty of close-mindedness.

Open your mind to discussion of all aspects of this story; that's what we do here. It will reflect better upon you and your arguments in future.

Islam is a religion first and foremost. Going by your logic the same can be said about Judaism and Christianity, hell all religions.

Here in America we are supposed to be tolerant of all religions. Unless of course, we continue to want our founder fathers to roll their eyes at us.
