I'm just inquiring in a Fictional sense, just so I know what I should or should not post if I were to share in the "Short Stories" forum... A few of my fictional writings (not all of them! I'm not entirely perverse!
) might have the mention of blood in them. Nothing explicit, but, blood all the same.

For example, an angry man clenching his fist so tight as to draw blood.

Would that be allowed? Or is "gore" just considered to be something akin to an overly descriptive act of murder and such? I would class it as the latter, but, can never be too sure so thought I'd better be certain before I got myself into trouble

The example you gave should not be cause for any problems.

Going into graphic detail of how a person is decapitated on the other hand might be.

If worried that your post might violate the TCs, you can always run it by the staff first using the Complain button and show it to us. We can let you know if it's all right, or if it might be a problem.

I have not once yet written a decapitation scene! I don't think I'm dark enough, haha. But good to know
I'm finding my inner-Fantasy-writer and the occasional mention of blood has continued to pop up from time to time.

I'll keep that complain button in mind, thanks for the quick response

They're more concerned about websites that show gory and gruesome scenes (which are triggers for some people.) In the fiction area, some blood and so forth are not unusual in stories. It doesn't sound like anyone would have a problem with your stories.

Had to make sure though
I saw that bit in the T&Cs and was all hmmmmm, okay... Read through a couple of my things, found situations involving a girl emerging from a corpse pile, a guy ritualistically incising patterns into a body... Clenching an angry fist was the least of my worries but served as a simple example to see where the land lay involving fictional gore.
