*sigh*

The White House isn't saying there is some kind of law, or technical reason Trump should be disqualified...they are saying his statements and how he presents/carries himself don't live up to the office of president.

No, there's no law or some kind of qualification Trump doesn't meet...The White House is saying that people should reject his candidacy because of his opinions and what he's said.

Sorry, but this is a veiled threat to all GOP candidates. I wonder how many get audited before Obama leaves office...Trump included. They are not citing any law but this is overboard.

and remember Obama I am sure is still pissed because of the birthers which was started by Hillary and exploited by none other than Trump himself.

Seems about par for this administration.

Obama wants complete control over what we say and think.

Specify. I fail to see the context here.

If making idiotic statements disqualified you as a Presidential candidate then Barry wouldn't be President right now.

What an absolute divisive character. He is whipping up a frenzy and people are starting to buy into it.

If he has to face Sanders, they are poles apart politically, it would probably be the most interesting election since Nixon/Kennedy?

Good luck USA, the rest of the world will be watching to see what you really think.

Saying the obvious isn't being scared...

What he is proposing isn't possible, to the reasonable person that should make you think.

Oh and where does the link say that he isn't eligible??

If delusional insanity and corruption bar one from holding public office, Washington, and every other state capitol, would be a ghost town!
Every clown in the present Amerikkkan Cirque du Freaque, from the dog-catcher in Lower Dismal Seepage, Iowa, to President, would be disqualified!
The healthy and sane have no desire to 'run the show', or tell others how to run their lives!

Ohh you know telling us who we can and can't vote for.

Telling us what we can say / think about Muslim immigrants.

Selectively choosing which laws should be enforced.

Selectively choosing which laws should be enforced against.

I disagree.

They didn't say he shouldn't be. They said not eligible which is entirely different.

Words have meanings.

Make America hate...or make America more cautious?

When Rand Paul suggested just about the same thing, naming over 30 countries that should have extra scrutiny, they simply voted him down 10-89. No on e said he was racist or such. No one called him Hitler. He has very good ideas but the establishment does not want it.

His bill, titled the Stop Extremists Coming Under Refugee Entry Act, was presented and voted down.

There is nothing wrong with taking a step back and reviewing what is in place because right now it is not working.

It is hilarious. This election season is providing great theatre.

However, I did not know that we as a country were bound to allow anyone across our borders who wanted to come here.

And I'll bet that we weren't allowing in great numbers of Germans and Japanese during WWII just to prove how great, tolerant and all-around "not mean" we were.

What does that InfoWars gobbledygook that Perl Harbor was a "false flag," have to do with the statement that President Obama wants to control what we say and think within the context of Trump?

That's how I'd have phrased it, too, in all likelihood. Why use a short word, when two or three long ones are more fun?

Doesn't mean I don't know that he is, most certainly, eligible. You're right in that they probably should have phrased it differently, though.

Where?

The article doesn't say that and the speech is saying that statement should disqualify him.

Says at the end that it is a statement that shows you lack the needed judgement to hold that position.

And I'll bet that we weren't allowing in great numbers of Germans and Japanese during WWII just to prove how great, tolerant and all-around "not mean" we were.

Ya we just rounded them up and put them in camps, not a dark spot in history at all.

It is obvious you did NOT watch the video...

It is all encompassing attach on the ENTIRE US Constitution by Obama...to a level equal to FDR during the lead-up to Pearl Harbor.

If you read the YT comments you will see verification of "top notch analysis".

ETA:

Provoking conflict, standing down our defenses, inviting attacks, then when the attack happens, using that attack for political purpose of politicians and the military industrial complex. Looks like Obama’s ISIS policy, but it could also describe FDR’s actions to get the US involved in World War II.
