Obama Administration says Trump is not eligible to run for office or other candidates who agree

The establishment is officially SCARED .

First, the White House does not have the ability to choose who runs or not. This is WAY overboard and to me personally, telling me that the current administrations feels that if someone has the same views as Trump it would disqualify them from, what, all of their rights? They are telling us that if we say things like ' we need a change to current policy' we do not have rights....

What road are we heading down here? I cannot ever recall nor can I find a time that a sitting administration has done this. They are ok with allowing the borders to overflow with illegal immigrants but if someone complains they are kicked out of the playground.

Of course he's eligible. Anyone who is a natural born citizen of a certain age is eligible. Doesn't necessarily mean they should be.

He shouldn't be. That's what the WH is saying. Though I've never heard, or heard of, the WH putting it so plainly...

Kinda refreshing, actually, to agree with the WH on something...

Unfortunately we had the raging racist, Woodrow Wilson, as a President so the White House is wrong here. Trumps idiotic rhetoric doesn't disqualify him from running as President. Though I don't blame them for worrying. Trump's rhetoric is the most unamerican rhetoric I've seen come from a Presidential candidate.

You are right! The ruling elite are scared. I used to think Trump could easily be a plant to benefit our rulers regardless of which wing of the bird was the main pilot, but these reactions are insane.

I think they are scared because their co partners in crime, the MSM are not being successful in bringing his numbers down. Propaganda has always worked in the past right?

Either way, it makes a great atmosphere to make popcorn, sit back, relax and laugh my ass off watching the power elite lose their minds along with their faithful followers.

Do they elaborate on why the statement disqualifies him for running for office?
What part of the constitution specifies, that to preserve, protect and defend can not include denying a certain demographic of foreigners entry to the republic?

(this may be common knowledge to Americans, so pardon my ignorance if this is the case :-) )

I did find it on CNN and then the OP added a source. I only asked since it is supposed to be there to begin with.

This is a widely published story, all the same quote, so, in this case the source doesn't really matter. But in many OPs, the source material is extremely important and should be noted.

It's actually a smart move. Keep Trump as the front-runner until the RNC officially nominates him as their candidate for POTUS. Then Hillary or Sanders win in a landslide.

In addition to continuing to rise in the polls, Trump has been getting TWICE as much air time on the msn as their favorite socialist Hillary...and it hasn't cost him a single cent.
The man is a tactical genius when it comes to politics.

Not sure I would vote for him but it's nice they all hate him. That means the voters must LIKE him. But alas it's going to be Jeb and Hill such a boring waste.
