The Entire Planet Can Go Solar Right Now!

Nobody can stop this from happening. The way of the dinosaur went and has gone. We will always invent things and some of the NEW inventions will replace the old ones and YES, it will put people out of work and buisnesses lost, but the NEW jobs will fill the gap with new buisnesses. It is the Tycoons who are scared to go out of business, they want to keep on doing the same old thing over and over and make their cash, but that is life. THINGS CHANGE you cain't stop it from happening. The dinosaur age will end and a new will begin. That's life. What are the coal companies going to do when they run out of coal ?
What are the nuclear plants going to do with all that waste and melt downs ? The search for clean energy is here already. Solar Power will get more advanced. The Power company's Tycoons figured that out already. They figured out to build a huge solar array in space and beam it down to you the consumer. Now they got this new Elevator to go into space so the tycoons can put up their solar arrays in space pennies on the dollar. I'm sure in the future power companies will be looking down on earth. THAT is the Future.

Free anything is bad for business

Thorium is good.
Burying trash is bad when it could be used to make carbon neutral fuels.

Using liquid carbon neutral fuels in fuel cells is good.

Building cheap long life storage batteries for solar is a very good idea.

There are some things i don' understand at all.

Electric cars are great but you can not take a trip with one.
Why do the makers of electric cars not build towed power units to charge there cars on long trips while they drive.
these range extenders can be built with gas engines or something cleaner like propane or natural gas engines or fuel cells.

I would love a small Electric car i could charge from solar with a range of 50 miles if i had a range extender for trips out of town.

Typical range on electric cars are 300 miles or more on a full charge, and a significant re-charge in a few hours, so if there were proper charging stations, or even if there weren't, you can prob just charge your car while you are grabbing a bite.

Got to get the environmental folks on board first seem to remember reading about a solar farm (in death valley I think) getting killed because of some fuzzy wuzzy critters habitat would be impacted..

If you cant get the environmental folks on board you have a less than zero shot at getting power companies on board.
