Several neighbors said they noticed about two years ago that Farook had begun wearing traditional Pakistani clothing - a long tunic and an Islamic prayer cap. He also began growing his beard out.
Neighbor Phyllis Hoops, 80, said she often saw the Farook family taking a walk together in the evenings. She said they did not associate with other people in the neighborhood except for Marquez, but that he and Farook would often spend entire days working on cars together.
According to public records, Farook and Malik moved to a townhouse in Redlands in August.

So,, they only moved into their Redlands, CA townhouse this past August which is only about 3 months ago.

I could be wrong but I think the neighbors interviewed were from the Riverside neighborhood where Farook had lived his whole life (next door to Marquez) until moving to Redlands, in August.

Great catch! That resolves the discrepancy.

Kida confirms they moved into their home August of THIS year which is just a few months ago, quite consistent with the Paris buildings/business likewise being purchased couple months before the alleged attacks.

Mystery solved..lol I dont have my discrimination hat on this morning. Perhaps one too many fermented grape juice beverages last night at a dinner party.

Why does it matter? He was an employee at the location where he committed the crimes for some time prior to moving.

It could be that moving from their regular home to a new house they were distancing themselves from family and friends before the act so that, especially the family,could deny all knowledge of their act.
