I saw a trailor for this movie last night. It looks really good and i think it might have something to do with the reptilian race.

Heres a link to the offical site:

No, it has to do with the HG Welles novel by the same name and a remake of the 1950s (?) movie. From what I've seen from the trailer, it looks pretty faithful to the first movie. I'm looking forward to seeing it too.

But I wonder why they all want to remake the really good movies. Willy Wonka's another one.

Wait till you see King Kong.

That will be the most worthy remake of the past 50 years.

I saw the trailer for the movie this last weekend. They were quoting the original HG Wells script word for word. It appears that they will stick to the original script when possible. The special effects will have greatly improved from the attempt at making this movie and it should be really good. The only way that they can ruin it is by trying to show the aliens too much. They should keep them mysterious.

Spielberg has always made good alien movies so I don't expect this will change that trend. I'm looking forward to it.

Yes i agree, spielberg usually does a good job of keeping things the way they should be, other directors have a habit of changing past productions into more new age stuff that really just ruins classicals. I am looking forward to this though, Tom cruise is in it too, good actor, even though i dont like most of his movies, hes still good.

Best wishes,
Dani
