Islam is a creepy religion when a person can be living a seemingly moderate muslim existence, going to mosque, going to work, holding down a government job for years, socializing with people at work that throw him and his wife a baby shower, then start building bombs and i.e.d.'s and just walk in one day and kill all those people.

The exact same thought can be applied to any religion..ie PP shooting.

Oh. I agree with you. I was being sarcastic.

To answer your question- I don't think they can.

Because some killings have national and international ramifications. Others don't.

Though to be honest I doubt you're very familiar with the actual code, so I don't see any point in continuing. Yes, all murder is bad. Some murders affect a family, maybe a neighborhood. Others effect a much grander scale of people. Pretending otherwise is fantasy.

that that more Americans have been killed by home grown terrorists than Islamic ones? This is how she propaganda spreads by grabbing at the emotions of otherwise intelligent people and making them fearful of all Muslims.

"Yesterdays moderate are today's terrorists" umm how does that work? It obviously wasn't a moderate Muslim who killed these marines but a radical Muslim.

Why is it so hard for people like her to understand the difference?

All extremist muslims were moderate at one time. No one starts out being extreme. You can be borne into an environment that may create extremism, but you must still pass through moderate on the way there. The simple truth is there is no single group of people more likely to produce extremist muslims than a group of moderate muslims. Hence the statement, "Yesterday's moderates are today's terrorists."

I agree with that. But Islam is in a class all by itself with its network of radicals all over the world, its jihadist mentality, its use of social media to recruit moderates for radicalization, and the constant threat of violence. No sign of being hyped up on pharmaceuticals, no mentally ill diagnosis or treatments, well-educated, a new father supposedly proud and happy....then...bam!! He's putting on tactical gear, building bombs and i.e.d.'s, acquiring tons of weapons and ammo, and shooting up a whole conference room of fellow workers. Creepy.

Islam is no more bizarre than any other religion.

If you want 'creepy'- check out the Christian religion that condones child sex abuse. Catholicism anyone? Creepy men in frocks.

You are lumping moderates in with extremists. They are two different things.

Intelligent people like you can tell the difference, what about the rest? Also that type of thinking can be applied to any religion.

So you do not think a person like that has no mental issues? Islam does not have a foothold on crazy.

Anyone person can seem normal than bam...killing spree. I think ,though, that anyone who thinks killing people for any cause, no matter the amount has definite mental issues.

The problem is that you cant tell the difference, until its too late. The psychopath doesn't have a lighted sign over his head saying, "Beware!" He greats you with a smile and a friendly handshake.

Certainly it can be applied to any religion. But with few rare exceptions, I think there are not many religious extremists as potentially dangerous as muslims.

With muslims though, it's the network of enablers of radicalization. It is not the guy that gets all worked up and goes out and commits a violent act.

Muslims have a whole network of these enablers along with Facebook pages and other social media, websites, instructions, and their very own magazine that teaches methods. Creepy.

The ones who don't agree with your definition of "moderate" and "radical"?
