Come on!

All you have to go on is a Tweet that says, "she didn't want to racially profile" and in what way can you honestly say that is "for fear of being called a racist" even if you assume that:

1. She even said it in the first place (the only proof seems to be a tweet?)
2. She (whoever "she" is) is actually a neighbor
3. She actually witnessed any suspicious activity
4. What she (if she exists, is a neighbor, saw anything at all and gave a comment) was something suspicious enough to warrant the police looking into it?

I get packages delivered to my house all the time. You should see all of them that are arriving filled with Christmas presents my wife is ordering off the Internet. Do you think the police are going to come investigate me because I get packages? What if I was of Arab descent? Is it somehow inherently suspicious for non-whites to receive deliveries to their homes?

This is ridiculous.

Echo chamber crap.

Somebody said.... after the fact..... attention seeking.

You know what y'all call PC used to be considered good manners. And yes there were and always will be people with very bad manners.

If whoever was concerned - why not just be a good little ***** and "if you see something, say something'. That applies to domestic violence, child abuse, illegal acts of all kinds.

Not everyone wants to be subjected to the garbage in people's heads. Be kind, be polite and if you are concerned f*****in do something.

So what you're saying is I should call the police anytime I see a white male with a gun. I mean they are the most likely to commit a mass shooting. Oh, but we can't judge a white person based on the actions of the vast minority. Muslims, blacks, Mexicans, etc on the other hand...

Havent read the thread, I saw the story on FOX and all I have to say is this story should be plastered everywhere, this is what you get when you get used to the constant bulling the public puts up with, with all of this PC crap, this attitude is terrible but keep pushing it this is what you get. Does that fuzzy feeling make you also feel safer now?

This was not aimed at any one person.
Thanks Ed

Do you live in SoCal? Once being tagged a racist, you'll get much more than just laughed at there.

I live in SoCal and have never seen anything as much as someone getting laughed at for being a labeled a racist.

Seems you are trying to imply worse than that would happen?

Fair warning to all of you who throw "racist" around like it's going out of style! You should be ashamed of yourselves for using that "weapon" as your minimal way of trying to shut someone up whose getting the better of you in an argument. All you liberals that secretly said "and if they disagree with the President...we just call them racist" to a room full of laughing.

Your failed tactics to shut anyone up have failed...as have your lies. Now deal with the result of your actions. People afraid to tell the truth and point out problems because they don't want to be called racist. It was bound to happen...and you're to blame.

Where some of THAT blood. You earned it!

I actually did turn in a crack house, twice, it was right across the street and I talked to the officers right in front of the house,

And they knew it was a crack house before I complained, they know a lot they do nothing about.

Remember this thread?

Concerned citizen calls 911 over man walking ‘with purpose’ with Confederate flag

From that OP:

Well, the rest is taken up by the OVER SENSITIVE moron calling the cops. What the heck has happened in America?

Some of the same people in this thread who are so outraged over how "political correctness" allegedly somehow kept this woman from calling the cops on a couple of Arab descent for having packages delivered to their home were beside themselves with fake outrage in another thread because "political correctness" somehow motivated an "over sensitive moron" to call the cops on a white guy for similarly innocuous behavior.

You mean it's not politically correct to call someone a racist? Got it. I'll try to be more PC for ya. Wouldn't want to offend you. Go find your safe place to heal.

Actually, Political Correctness and calling people racist go hand in glove.

Yeah, it's like the "you aren't tolerant of my intolerance" argument. Circle jerk.

Just think, the headlines would've read "Racist Bigot Prevents Terrorist Attack"

I would've preferred that.

No, it's more like: "You don't agree with my progressive ideological worldview?--Shut up you Right Wing, Christian, Tea- Party, Racist."

I haven't seen any proof that that was the activity she was talking about, but Great. Report it!

Wasn't that the claim? Large number of boxes delivered over a period of time and a group of men constantly doing something in the garage late at night? Not sure what you mean by didn't see any proof. I was just commenting that Suspicious activity can be anything out of the norm for the neighborhood. So the cops come by and see they are building a 56 Chevy..end of story, but maybe something else.

No one would never know that it was she who reported it. She could have done so completely anonymously. I did that when there was a meth house in my neighborhood. Eventually, I went to the sheriff's office in broad daylight to talk with the sheriff about it, described the house, and the activity I'd seen. Sometimes you have to be a little brave.

Aren't you the smart one to know just how a single woman should act and feel when she sees something that doesn't make sense to her. lol If the cops came to my door on a call I could figure it out in about oh 10 seconds.

How safe did she think she was living in the house next door to all this suspicious activity?

Like I said, this sounds like a politically-motivated story.

Maybe maybe she was just scared to do anything....

this is Obamas fault. his stupid rhetoric trying to save face and not call out radical islam is EXACTLY WHY THIS NEIGHBOR DIDNT REPORT THE SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY. i hope he feels really #ing stupid now putting his personal # over protecting our country and properly leading the people. 14 people are dead and accomplices are running the streets here now bc THIS NEIGHBOR DIDNT WANNA BE CALLED A RASCIST... WELL WHERE THE # DO YOU THINK THEY GOT THAT LOGIC FROM? what bull#

Well, isn't that how this woman in the OP should feel as well, and isn't it her own fault if she doesn't?
