Welcome back to the civilian world. I went from 7 1/2 years active duty to working for the army for a total of 18 1/2 years.

I hope you have all your medical documentation in order and are prepared to file a disability claim.

I just recently found out that I was allowed to use VA for primary care all these years and no one ever told me.

Make sure you take advantage of all benefits available to you.

Great job, young fella. I spent a career with the AF, but I salute you every day of the week for going to the war and making it safer for our own people and allies.

Oh I'm not sure I did that.

With all the the mismanagement I don't really see a lot of success for the effort.

But that is why I learned to deeply hate politicians.

I agree with you on the politicians. But never underestimate what you did for your American colleagues and allies who are good guys too. And others who just want someone to make an effort on their behalf. Sometimes that's the main accomplishment.
