Yet Putin had no issues working with Turkey and pushing a pipeline.... That is until russia violated their airspace, got there plane shot down and now we see putin throwing a temper tantrum.

Where was their outrage before that?

Syria 'OK' with US airstrikes

United Nations: Syria's foreign minister said on Monday that his government is satisfied with the US-led bombing campaign against the Islamic State group, adding that the airstrikes should be expanded to include all other militant groups in Syria.

In an interview with The Associated Press, Walid al-Moallem said the fight against terrorism has aligned Damascus with Western and Arab opponents in fighting the same enemy.

Al-Moallem said the US does not inform Syria of every strike before it happens, "but it's OK."

"We are fighting ISIS, they are fighting ISIS," he said, referring to the group by one of its acronyms.

He spoke as US-led coalition airstrikes targeted towns in northern and eastern Syria controlled by the Islamic State group, including one strike that Syrian activists said hit a grain silo and reportedly killed civilians.

If a US jet violates russian airspace, or vice versa, they would be shot down.

Maybe so.. But the core of the story does have a certain resonance. Yes Turkey supports ISIS that is well established. Anyone that hammers the Kurds is a good thing as far as Turkey is concerned.

The have been sending personal over the boarder, lots of weapons and allowing ISIS trucks full of oil to enter the country..

Does that mean that the Syrians have the same right (via Russia) to shoot down Turkish and US planes operating in there airpspace since they are there illegally..

1. I see you totally skipped over what I posted,too much for you? If Turkey is going to go into other countries airspace AND THEY HAVE,by over 2000 times,and they didn't get shot down for it,they have no reason to go shooting down a Russian plane UNLESS they want to start something. We have violated Russian airspace and they have violated ours. You don't see us shooting them down. All countries know that things can happen when you are concentrating on a target.Thats IF you even want to believe Turkey(which I don't since they are making a TON of money off the illegal Syrian oil trade)
2.On an international stage,saying "okay" and giving permission are two different things,so I have no idea how that answers my prior post.
3.Saying we aren't violating anyone's airspace is a moot point since we think we own the entire world.After all we are being run by megalomaniac fools that think they can do anything at all they want.

Yet no issues were raised when Syria downed a Turkish aircraft that violated syrian airspace. Secondly how greece responds to turkish airspace violations and vice versa are the concerns of those 2 countries. They have a different relationship than with russia or Syria. Not completely ignoring it, its just not relevant.

Russia was warned numerous times in october, and again when they violated turkish airspace. They got their escort warnings already. Turkey told them what further violations would entail.

You are quite right about Turkey having a different relationship with Syria than Russia. Since so much trade goes on back and forth,and they have had a fairly decent relationship in the past,you would think Turkey would have been more reserved about shooting down a Russian plane. But when your "friendly" country is bombing your cheap oil imports that your son is selling at huge profits on the black market,well....... You do have to cover that all up you know? Then there is the arms that are going back over your border to your enemy's side for the rebels you are supporting.

As far as Syria shooting down a Turkish jet,well what do you expect from a country that is being torn apart both internally and externally? They are going to pretty much attack anything that moves at this point. And just so Russia doesn't get off scott free,next time a Korean airliner or any other countries airliner enters their airspace,they may want to make exceptions and be more level headed about it than they have been in the past.
