I could have done without seeing this...now I'm all pissy.

What a dick.

How sad that this person did this to another human being, that the people in the vehicle encouraged him and found it amusing and that people on YouTube actually clicked the 'like' button.

You certainly do not need to give the homeless person a sandwich but you sure as hell do not need to humiliate him in a pathetic attempt to elevate yourself.

Looks like there is a response from the franchise owner of the particular Mc Donald's

He also added:

Finley added that he is “taking appropriate action with respect to this individual.”

the homeless man might not have responded so is throwing a glass of water upon the homeless person might not be what it appears to be full stop the fact that he knew his name quote hello willie suggests to me that the homeless person was known full stop they probably take turns to help him.

I cannot , even on the worst day i have had imagine doing this to another human being , and this guy was homeless and that makes it even more mind numbing .

Help him....relative to weather ....omg...i can feel my blood pressure going up after reading what you stated......

I can only hope somebody helps you in the same way in the very near future

i have severe post traumatic stress disorder and eye sight problems. Sometimes i do not respond and people yell at me to get me to be socialise. Had much worse than water thrown on me. Thanks

I am sorry that is your situation it must be very difficult,my gf has eyesight problems and she also gets a hard time for it...

In saying that what these people did to that man is sub human and there is no reason that makes it acceptable

I always hope for the upside in situations. But that isnt the case here.

So contracting seeing these posts, I bet the same people who thinks this is bad ignore homeless people they see on the streets or don't help them at all.

Wow...that looks horrible doesn't it? I understand and feel the sentiment of everyone here for the homeless. Often they have mental problems that we aren't addressing, can't find a job or get out of the rut of homelessness, etc. We REALLY need to do more to help SOLVE the problem...but not just support it.

However, if a smelly, dirty, scary and sometimes vile (cursers, yellers, etc.) is going onto private property (McDonalds for example) with customers that could be harassed, frightened or worse...they should be "directed" off the property. Should the guy have called the police? Should he have physically confronted the man and escorted him off the property? Is splashing him with water really such a bad choice?

I can't compare the homeless to politicians...I feel bad for homeless people but loathe politicians.

For getting water splashed in his face? Sorry but that is overkill.

Look, I get that it wasn't nice thing to do, and I certainly wouldn't do something like this myself. But it is very difficult for me to find sympathy for freeloaders. I get that not everyone can control their own circumstances to get them where they are, but that's no reason to give up and essentially prey on good people to give you undeserved money that you did NOT earn.

People think that most beggars are victims of circumstance but many of them make 30-40 K tax free per year begging. For many of them, they do it like a full time job. We're talking about people that actually have homes, yet beg on the street and have their set dirty clothes they wear for "work". If he's one of those guys, he more than deserves water to the face, just saying.

Granted, it's wrong to antagonize somebody like that and people don't deserve to be treated that way, but if they are REALLY homeless, water in the face is the least of their problems. I just hope it was one of those scam artists, not a legitimate homeless guy.
