CNN.com has reported that the governor of Baghdad, Ali Al-Haidri has been assassinated. Not many details are available at the moment, as it had only
happen minutes ago. All that is known was that his bodyguards and the assassins were involved in a gunbattle.

As long as the US keeps to their January deadline, the more this insurgency will worsen. They remain confident, but what about the leaders and future
leaders. They really have to secure this place before even thinking of having a new government in place that can't even defend itself.
