Looks like the silhouette of two stop signs having a little kiss.

Where was that taken? Chernobyl?

Ha! No idea, a buddy sent that to me but not sure if he took it either.

I used to live in Montana and saw them this big every now and then. I was more scared to cross one of these on a trail than a bear....Moose are really mean.

I had the misfortune of driving past the early aftermath of a honda civic with 4 passengers that had hit a moose at about 90 MPH. Took the legs out and the moose body tore then entire top of the car off, decapitated the two front passengers and killed the two in the back as well...this was back when the speed limit there was "reasonable and prudent"....

I don't think he did.
I saw a write-up on the pics after they went viral last year. It is a photoshop job.

Why would anyone photoshop that? They really do get that big. Look up pics for Alaska-Yukon Moose....they are massive...1800 lbs at the top I believe.

those are the elusive nocturnal happy furry lollipop friends ....
they only come out at night time .. and generally play around and have fun, when no one else is usually around

you should consider yourself extremely fortunate to have witnessed these beautiful creatures ... the vast majority of people dont believe in such creatures ... and even more have never heard of them

Driving through a high pass in the Rocky Mountains between Cody Wyoming and Yellowstone Park about 2:00 A.M.

Sure you weren't just high driving through the pass and not just driving through a high pass?

Looks like you saw the the elusive Punisher Bigfoot that runs those hills. I here he is the meanest of the bunch.

Honestly though I have the faintest idea of what you saw...just glad it was you and not me.

Just because she hangs out with a bearded dude named Gandalf that smokes a pipe?

And she lives below ground.

I would say moose as well from your description. They don't have a noticeable tail and would likely look like two furry basketballs on stilts from behind at night.

This picture would probably give an idea of the geometry:

4.bp.blogspot.com...

There's the two long legs, the round butts and the head is hidden from view.

could it have been two big brown hairy basketballs on legs?
with big white flappy wings?
