Thank you for all the great feedback following our last video - THE INTERNET feat. Dan Bull. The sharp eared amongst you spotted a bit of a message at the end of that episode, where Robert says: "‘it’s been a sincere privilege examining the ways in which History is Happening… here on the internet" - and many of you emailed us asking what it meant. Well, you were right to pick up on it, as we have some big news. After 6 years and 35 episodes, we have decided to make this our final episode of Juice Rap News - for some time to come.

I just received this in my e-mail and I have to say that I am a little distraught by it. They were by far the most entertaining and honest entertainment news show around. The conspiracy theorist in me can't help but think that there is more to the story then being said.

This last season took off to a slow start. They had funding issues which screamed of of the possibility of someone, or something tying to shut down the truth. Especially right after their episode on the Illuminati. Now they are saying their goodbyes. It could be completely genuine, with nothing sinister behind it, but my gut tells me otherwise.

The thing I fear, is that this is an attempt to silence media that speaks the truth and gets people to think.

Even if it is not a conspiracy, I am truly saddened by this. I love how the show helped me to see things in new perspectives and opened my eyes to different sides of many issues that I was unaware of.

Sounds to me like Hugo just wants to go on his own.

I have seen a couple of these vids, they were great. Bummer I never sub'd to them and now they are done for the time being.

It is possible you are correct, and I hope that it true. It could be just me , but it did look at times like Hugo was on the verge of tears. The story they are presenting may be correct, but clearly, a lot went on behind the scenes that we will never see, I just feel like there is more to it, given the issues they had at the beginning of the season.

The War on Journalism was the first one I ever saw, right here on ATS. Very fitting.

Sad times indeed, I followed them from more or less the beginning IIRC.
I thought the end was coming for a little while though, a lot of the rhymeflow felt fairly consistently off for a while now.

Nevertheless, optimistic for future Juice.

Yeah, things did seem very shaky in this last season. I've probably lost count of the amount of times I've slipped a Rap News video in a thread, in fact I like rap music now because of them! I never thought that would happen in a million years.
But more important was the lyrics, they were so very well written and wonderfully rhymed.

I think I'll miss Terrence Moonseed the most

I'm going to post the first one where it all started, great characters that continued over the years, already so well developed.

It's hard to keep a show like that going when it just doesn't take off.
They weren't making a lot of money according to Social Blade
