Actually it's the opposite. IDEALLY everybody is able to see both sides, reach an understanding and a compromise.

A one-way street shows intolerance for the other.

Cultural tolerance goes both ways. If you're invited into someone's home, you don't just go in and tear it down only to replace it with things that are acceptable to you. Just as if you invite someone into your home, you wouldn't much appreciate them destroying it because your lifestyle isn't agreeable to theirs.

When I travel to another country, I don't expect them to bend over backwards to cater to me. I respect the culture and mannerisms the best I can, study up a bit on the language, and try my best to not make an idiot of myself. It's not right to force ideology on someone else... especially in their back yard. At the same time though, I still expect to be respected as a human being regardless of how well I know their culture.

Mutual respect is what it boils down to. One sided nonsense isn't right.

I live in Sweden, ya know? You know the imaginary world of ideals doesnt exist here, rules and laws.. They can do wtf they want as long as they respect our laws and rules...

You wonder what happens when ideals are applied in Sweden? Take a good guess?
Nothing here is built on morals, you understand your obligation to your state..

Respect and follow the law, or you can try and see what happens if you tell a swedish cop, hey 2nd amendment FU, that lends you a cell for 48 hours, even if you didnt do #..

This country is a marxist, socialist police state, that is very tolerant cause you follow the rules and laws.. And its called freedom under your own responsibility..

What do they want Sweden to do? Chop down all the forests and import trillions of tons of desert sand to make them feel more at home?

You cant touch the forest here, sorry.. You will be kicked out if you cut down a single tree and fined 100.000 dollars..

Old myth, chop down a tree and misfortune,sickness and just weird things will occur for the rest of your lives..

Last person chopped a tree, fined 20.000 dollars,
one person chopped down 3 trees, fined 600.000 dollars..

So no tree touchy.. Even beavers are shot if they take down to many trees.

I must be confused on which side of the issue you are on. Come to think of it, I believe there's a giant misunderstanding actually. So hopefully you can clear things up.

Are you saying that the immigrants need to accept the accommodations that were provided and quit complaining?

Or are you saying that the Swedish society needs to cater more to the immigrant culture?

I can't tell which point you're trying to make, if any, of the above points. As you live in Sweden, I'm curious to know how you feel about the immigrants coming into your country and essentially demanding their culture be catered to.

Dude western modern life style! We came from the woods we were city states under the Roman Empire from pagan to tax, the reason it worked is because we were allowed to marry or interbreed as we saw fit or pray to some god that did not exist, the reason the Islamic empires got beat back was their oppressive nature; you must believe in Islam and you must inter marry with Muslims, sorry the Roman idea while oppressive, brought the west together and allowed us to exist as city states it became evident that the two ideas could now co exist and here we are a thousand years later fighting a similar battle. No it's not Christianity vs Muslim it is secularism vs forced religious oppression.

Actually in the RW I am considered to be really smart, I'm sorry if it annoys you. Dragons? Knights on white horses? You are the only one who has surmised that from anything I've said. All I am saying, is that in the REAL WORLD, intelligent , civilized people compromise and find a way to get along. When someone is trying to help you, you either reject the help and go away, or accept it with gratitude.

Understand I am not addressing the entire population of immigrants in Sweden, only those who are the subject of this thread - those who have been offered a safe-haven in a wooded area, which may be all Sweden has left, as they are quickly exhausting their resources trying to make accommodation's for the in-coming. It's a tremendous hardship on them as they are doing the best they can.

To have people saying their many efforts are not good enough is something I find quite annoying.
