Christianity and Islam Unite

Islam and Christianity are the two largest religions on earth. Together they would be unstoppable. Both have far more in common than they think, and in fact, should be considered almost the same religion! Just different sects, with slightly different interpretations of G-d's will. Both are Abrahamic, both believe in Jesus and the Virgin Birth, both acknowledge the earlier Biblical prophets. The Qu'ran and the Bible are both G-d's word, and equally valuable!

Together, these two religions could defeat and destory the profligacy, heresy, and deviancy in the world today. Together they can utterly put and end to the wayward heathens in power, who kill babies and sanction homo marriages and deviancy. Both of these great, powerful, compelling regions place G-d and his will above all else!

What is stopping us from uniting?

This is ignoring the fact that both Christianity and Islam are big reasons for these things taking place already.

They'll never unite, that's against the M.O. of their existence. Divide and conquer, religion has been the greatest ally to that philosophy.

The word 'love' appears more than 300 times in the Bible while the Koran doesn't mention the word love even once. This is a fundamental difference in those two religions which makes them incompatible.

I am sorry, there are a few beliefs that can not be reconciled.
They do not believe Jesus was crucified for our sins and that the only way to the Father is through the sacrifice of Jesus.

Muslims believe that Jesus was not crucified. It was the plan of Jesus’ enemies to crucify him, but God saved him and raised him up to Him. And the likeness of Jesus was put over another man. Jesus’ enemies took this man and crucified him, thinking that he was Jesus. God has said:

There are likely people on both sides who would kill you for suggesting the religions unite.

It doesn't matter how similar you percieve the religions to be, the way they interpret it is vastly different.

Correct. If I am not mistaken the general concept of love or affection is mentioned many more times than that, but a different word is used to convey that feeling above and beyond what the word "love" embodies.

No single ideology should be unstoppable. The idea of uniting all religions is really flawed. As for the word love it depends in the context of which is it written. Love thy neighbour but kill them if they refuse to be of the new world religion. nice one.

Obviously you have no comprehension of the Bible or the Quran. Each of those books are diametrically opposed. Regardless of your belief, each book claims to be rooted in the Torah. They cannot both be considered accurate simultaneously, and therefore Islam and Christianity cannot be theologically consolidated.

Now, we can set aside all differences and unit to destoy a common enemy, but these days, people can't see past their legalistic misconceptions about faith. Contrary to the politically correct retards in office around the world, the world gas become less tolerant today because of socialist pipe dreams.

Islam rejects Jesus as the son of God. This is the straw that breaks the two religions back.

The world needs less organized religion not another organized religion seperating people .
