I can hardly stand this. It's like listening to my Mom and my Grandpa arguing politics at Thanksgiving. Need more wine.

lol im having a nice scotch

Here's Stephen Green, libertarian leaning, drunkblogging it.

All Hail, Vodkapundit!

I love how the Democrats are debating a No-Fly Zone over Syria while that country is pretty much Russian airspace.

One of my favorite comments so far.

“Save capitalism from itself,” said every closet statist ever.

First question to Hillary amounted to, “Why do you suck?”

First question to Bernie amounted to, “Why does socialism rock?”

Shorter Bernie Sanders: I’m going to spend you bastards back to the Stone Age!

Succinct assessment of Bernienomics.

I think what we are seeing here is that Clinton and her record aligns more with the war-mongering Right than with the ideals most Democrats can agree on. Webb and Sanders are doing well but the others are falling back a bit.

I dont agree

Im on the Right, fought, had men and friends beside me die, im not a war monger

Now you want to say establishment GOP i get that, but most of us on the Right are not war mongers........

Infact even most of the hardliners have moved from "We should have gone there" to "That was a brash decision"

please dont blanket us all

It takes a big man to give credit where credit is due (to Webb) when standing on a debate stage. That says something about Sanders.

I said the war-mongering right. That in no way condemns all on the Right. Just the war-mongers that Clinton seems to align with.

My schedule changed and I was able to tune in to the debate. So far it seems that Sanders is the most pro-2nd amendment Dem so far.

Yeah but that can hurt him with Dem voters... I hope not.

Not really. Many Dems are pro 2nd or are indifferent.

What Sanders is doing is reaching out beyond the Dems to independents and disgruntled Republicans.

I agree. I have a family member that is as liberal as liberal gets. She actually describes herself as a 'flaming liberal' and yet she is one of the most ardent 2nd Amendment supporters. I'm talking a real "pry it from my cold dead hands" supporter. Plenty of support for 2A. I don't see it hurting Sanders.

Webb understands the middle east issues as far as the Muslim infighting............hes weak on everything else

2 very bad body language mistakes.

Sanders dropped something and ducked down below the podium.
Camera switched away, bit it was caught, along with his "excuse me"
when Cooper asked a question,
and leaning too far forward which looks like
he is having trouble hearing Cooper,
the death grip on the podium looks like he can't stand up
without holding onto something. His body language says I'm really old.

Hillary tried hard not to do the single finger wag of shame
but she did and it lasted far too long.
huge mistake to wag your single finger at the American public,
like a Mama shaming the kids.

OMG Chafee looks like Red Skelton,
I should talk, huh, I look like Hillary,
but honestly he looks like a comedian.
The voting public will never take him seriously.

Webb still has the body language of an android.
Not good.

Jim Webb answered the biggest threat question the best..

Global warming is here to stay can not do much about it,
Sanders saying that is biggest threat to mankind right now
is crazy as people are getting their heads chopped off
RIGHT NOW in droves.

Webb and Sanders look good so far. Clinton and Omalley are spitting rhetoric and talking points, in my opinion, and Chaffee is not a player at all.

Now I want all of you liberals and progressives here to take notice on this thread , lol of all of us who are actually watching this, so that we can make a balanced debate and conversation when this crap starts coming to ahead next year......

LoL were trying to be informed

Many others chose not to be and just cheerlead their own people.....

Much love for welcoming us here on this thread with grace and tolerance!

Mostly agree. Except I would say Webb is doing just okay. I think if he could articulate himself better he would gain huge ground.

Maybe next time.

the problem is the uninformed voters swallow the rhetoric like its mana from heaven

You and I might not agree much on anything , but were both informed, and we have formed our opinions on that whether we agree or not......

The rest just gulp down the talking points and vote based on that, THATS the scary part

Webb is similar to Sanders in that they are not polished politicians. They speak honestly as to what they truly believe. Might not be right, but honest.
