Forgive me, I worded that poorly. I wasn't just referring to when she went to college, but when my husband or myself was in college. 15 years ago, I had it easier paying for college than today's college students.

we should work toward it, but its not an end all be all at this point nor can you convert everything to it w out petrol..becasue it makes the systems lol

From what I understand, Sanders is slightly introverted, much less than myself. Introverted people can be easily overwhelmed with sounds and info in certain settings. It may not be about hearing, but one of trying to process a lot of information at one time.
