Edits don't mean that you lack credibility. At most it means that you want to make sure that you are correctly understood. Not having edits and having edits are up to personal preference. There is no rule against them. It is neither better nor worse to have edits or not have edits. But go ahead and ascribe whatever meaning you'd like. I tried to help you see sense.
