So a good selfless person is contingent on doing everything for free. I take it you're all for everything in life being totally free so all people can go about their business in life helping others in need or for the simple good of it? Without having to worry about how they're going to eat a meal or pay their bills, right?
You footing the bill for this personally?
who say all Christians

has gleefully said to another "you are going to hell";

I find that very hard to believe since you've been a member since 2010. Your eyes must have glossed over it, or your brain "re-educated" the sentences.
I've been a member since 2004 and I have seen many instances of Christians straight up telling people they are in fact going to hell. For being atheist. For being gay. For other reasons. I have seen on numerous occasions them saying it towards not individuals, but entire groups. And yes, at times, quite gleefully.
Read more, or read more carefully. Examples are plentiful.
Not what they do to get things for themselves.

Ugh. If you get paid then your actions are uncaring and wholly selfish? That's ridiculous.
Earning a wage, and contributing positively to society, are not mutually exclusive. Leave your celestial kingdom every once in a while and come back to the real world.
I don't read the "religious" threads at all.

If you don't frequent the kinds of threads I do then you probably are not at all familiar with my views. So everything you just accused me of is completely unwarranted.

Seen a massive rise of mostly American Christians bleating that they are being persecuted recently on ATS.
Just stop yes some Christians are being persecuted in other parts of the world and they are the ones who need our thoughts and help not Christians in the west safe behind their keyboards crying that they have been persecuted.
But what about the recent school killer I know some will say, well that is one nutjob It isn't happening in the USA or the UK all the time just once.
I also find it very hypocritical that the ones bleating persecution are the ones who have been very vocal on persecuting others and If you look back the vast majority of persecution has come from certain religions.
So stop have you never heard of the boy who cried wolf?.
What you are really moaning about is people criticizing your religion which is not persecution at all.
I have done a little reading and have found no persecution but a lot of lies.
Claiming you are a victim helps your cause doesn't it? it puts people on the defensive straight away when you bleat persecution, it is a powerful tool and If you actually fall for your own BS and believe it again it is a powerful tool to make your point and not get attacked on that point.
It reminds me of a bully who has had the run of the yard for ages until a bigger bully comes along and then the original bully crys persecution.
So please stop you are just harming your cause and spitting on the poor souls in the world who actually are being persecuted.
Remember criticism of your club is not persecution.
Rant over .

Go on hating Christians
I don't hate Christians. In fact, I love many. My best friend is Mormon, and like many atheists/antitheists, we have religious people in our families that we love dearly.
You're the one having a terrible time separating beliefs from the person. Not us. Hate the sin, not the sinner, right? Hate the belief, not the believer. It's not hard to do.
