I dad got a hold of a VHS copy (was considered a video nasty here in the uk at the time) and from that day forth after screaming my little heart out
and my Dad laughing I have loved the zombie genre I have dreams about a zombie outbreak often and I always kick ass.
Anyhow Day of the Dead has it all for me.
Here is the cast getting together for the 30th anniversary.
OMG Rhodes lol and steel has not changed a bit.
Classic. I was hooked on zombies the first time I saw Night of the Living Dead. I've always dreamed about what it would be like trying to escape a
zombie outbreak long before Walking Dead came along. I had Day of the Dead on VHS as well. I just remember thinking how gory it was...

1. Night of the living dead (original and remake).
2. Dawn of the dead (original). Though the remake wasn't bad.
3. Day of the dead.
That would be the order I'd put them in.
Honorable mention goes to Shaun of the dead, Zombieland, and a few others.
Check out Pontypool, The Battery, [REC], Mulbery Street, Mutants, Planet Terror, Life After Beth, Deadgirl, Burying The Ex, for some modern zombie
flicks you might not have seen. Some of these are much better than the others, but I enjoyed all of them.
Seen them all .
I really do not think there are any zombie flicks I have not seen.
Even the living dead at Manchester morgue lol.
I liked pontypool best from your suggestions.

I love that movie. Here's a bit of trivia (possible spoilers): The guy that played Bub is in a Walking Dead episode as a walker. I forget which
episode off hand but I think it's after they've moved into the compound so I think it's season 5. It's when Rick goes to an abandoned house outside
the compound and a walker grabs his leg.
Just finished Land of the dead I forgot how much I liked it.
Gonna try with the last two and weakest in the Dead series now or tmr it is 5:30 am here lol.
Oh but the remake of day was just Bad really really bad not as bad as Day of the dead 2 though.
