I can name quite a few in my lifetime. Bush and Bush Sr. Ford, Carter, Nixon and Johnson. I really liked Clinton until the Lewinski thing but overall it was a pretty good presidency for our country...I'm don't hate Reagan but there were a few things like Iran Contra....today that kind of REAL scandal would have wrecked him and maybe rightly so.

Let's see...out of 9 presidents...if we consider Reagan and Clinton good, Obama is number three. with six of way worse than him in our lifetime.

Because he, like many others, want to use tragedies such as this one for his agenda of gun control and people are tired of this crap.

The tragedy did not happen because of American gun laws, or because of our 2nd amendment right to own and bear arms. The tragedy happened because there are deranged murderers who want their 15 minutes fame by murdering people. S+F for the State of Jefferson. The lack of representation in northern California is atrocious. The entire 1/3 of the state has only 6 representatives in Sacramento...the rest of the state has 114, of which LA County has 35 representatives in Sacramento!
Yes we can say "well it's based upon population" but that still leaves no representation for these large areas in the north. LA County can push through things like the "fire tax" which is a large tax set on those in these rural areas in the north, we can tell all 6 of our reps we don't want it and 6 vs 35? It's getting slammed through...

Not only that, but before that he supposedly didn't notify Clinton that the Chinese government had somehow "acquired" designs for the W-88 U.S. nuclear warhead... Berger had been notified by the DOE of the espionage and theft in April 1996, yet he somehow failed to tell Clinton until July 1997...

Not only that, Clinton kept this man in his job despite this...and then Berger stole more classified info... You have to wonder, why would Clinton keep such an inept U.S. National security advisor? I'll give you Clinton...I already mentioned that was up for debate. As far as world influence...peace with Russia. Middle East ties.. US Economy...I still think the Clinton presidency was pretty good for the US. But I'll give it to you.

Reagan, not a huge fan but I thought he guided us through the cold war pretty well and he was what the American People needed.

So as far as the last night Presidents go. Reagan, then Obama. Not saying Obama was the best President ever nor near the top but he is near the top of the past few Presidents. He's so much better than Carter or either Bush or Nixon or Johnson. Maybe Ford was better? Ford's presidency was really one of just nothing. Nothing good, nothing bad?

I can't wait to see this phony president leave office. Before they even knew how many was dead he's already up there on TV talking about taking guns away. I got up and turned the TV off I was so pissed! Their own census.gov website reports say that 100 million are not working. The population is 320-350 million of which 100 million of that are children and elderly! So obviously it's not 5.1%!! You cannot believe a word he says. Our idiot vice president sits there and hasn't said a damn thing since he got into office. Biden might as well not even exist. He doesn't have the balls to say anything. What about the increase in debt of $8 trillion U.S.D. under Obama? He even went on live TV to claim that "we don't know where the trillions of dollars that disappeared went to". It took Senator Ron Paul, among some other Senators to investigate the issue to find that $13 trillion U.S.D. from U.S. taxpayers had been "re-allocated" to foreign banks from 2007-2010.

You want to claim he is one of the greatest Presidents and that's bs. He is the worst U.S. President.

Obama and his administration want criminals, and real terrorists in the U.S. so they can implement more of their draconian laws.

You're welcome to your opinion. And by the way, I'm 50 years old and Obama is by far the worst president during my lifetime as far as what he has done to our country. Short of dropping an actual nuke...he has done more damage to the USA than any other president...in my opinion.

Look I'll agree with you ElectricUniverse and WeAreAwake to a degree. You've listed things that Obama has done that aren't good or are wrong or make him not that great of a president. We can't argue with some of the stuff you have said and He is NOT one of the Greatest presidents of all time.

However, my contention is that he is one of the best recently of the last 9 that we've had.

Bush Jr was all about the Money and big oil profits and profits for Cheney/Haliburton. The Iraq war was nothing short of Criminal. We only went in there for Oil money. He let 9/11 happen. It was his watch. Our international relations were at an all time low when he was president.

Bush Sr was all about Oil as well. Kuwait.

Clinton...you know his scandals.

Carter. What did he do? He's a great man. The things that he's accomplished after his presidency are legendary. But while he was president he was very innefective.

Ford. Nothing

Johnson. Criminal

Where does that Leave Obama?

It's not enough to list some of his transgressions without listing his accomplishements. And most of the transgressions you list are debatable. Then you have to actually compare him with the other presidents on things like international relations, the Economy, our freedoms, and accomplishments and Scandals.

To take one of your points as an example. ObamaCare. It's not a failure with many millions of people that had no insurance before insured now. But really we don't know. You don't know if it's a failure or a success. Google it. You'll get millions of page hits and the first couple thousand are mostly going to be propaganda from one side or the other.

He's probably top 2 in the last 9 presidents. You tell me who was better and why?
