A background on the 'Hebrews':

Modern classification of DNA & Amino Acids:

- UCAG are the 4 modern letters used in the modern DNA alphabet
- Those 4 letters go 2x2 to make a 'word' string with 3 letters each (codons)
- DNA alphabet is quaternary, and DNA words are ternary

Hence, YHWH is quaternary, GOD is ternary?

The Hidden Name of The Creator in Your DNA

The YHWH Code

Scientist discovered a “map” of four DNA bases that carry the ability to sustain life. These bases, known as chromosomes, are paired differently for each person. Human DNA contains 23 pairs of chromosomes, made up of hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, carbon, and their acidic counterparts. Encoded within these elements is an amazing blueprint of life that proves the Creator has put His own unique stamp upon every person. This stamp is actually His name as revealed to Moses thousands of years ago.

The secret in our DNA…
When we substitute modern elements for all four letters of YHWH’s ancient name, we see a result that, at first blush, may be unexpected. Replacing the final H in YHWH with its chemical equivalent of nitrogen, YHWH’s name becomes the elements hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, and nitrogen (HNON) — all colorless, odorless, and invisible gases! In other words, replacing 100 percent of YHWH’s personal name with the elements of this world creates a substance that is an intangible, yet very real form of creation! This is not to suggest that YHWH is simply a wispy gas made of invisible elements. Rather, it’s through the very name that YHWH divulged to Moses over three millennia ago that our world and the foundation of life itself became possible. YHWH tells us that in the form of hydrogen, the single most abundant element of the universe, He is a part of all that has ever been, is, and will be.

Sefer Yetzirah provides the source for the 20 amino acids and 2 stop codon groups

Sefer Yetzirah is the earliest known work of Hebrew magical thought included in the subject known as Kabbalah or Qabala. It's title translates into English as "Book of Creation." It was written between the third and sixth centuries. It is extremely brief, less than 2000 words, and is written in a terse and enigmatic style which has defied all attempts to completely clarify its meaning.

In short, the text tells how The Creator used the numbers 1-10 and the 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet to create Universe and all the living things in it. The Hebrew letters are molded like bits of clay, placed opposite each other and otherwise manipulated to create, in a magical way, all that exists.

"... Sefer Yetzirah interprets the 'speech' of God in a very clear way. God did not talk to Himself, like an absolute monarch who wills and it is done. Rather, He generated substance, from which He formed letters, out of which he combined 'words', which became things. God's 'speech' was not sound but a modeling of units of clay." (UJM p. 46)

So here, in the Sefer Yetzirah, we have a magical text which purports to allow those who understand and use it to create living creatures. This is accomplished using 22 letters which are manipulated like bits of clay into chains that are arranged into complementary parallels and other shapes. This is very similar to scientific descriptions of the activity which takes place within the cells of living things. Scientists use the language metaphor to describe these chemicals and their activities. Lengths of DNA and the genes which reside there are refered to as genetic sentences and their chemical components are refered to as words and letters. Counting the stop codons as 2 seperate groups there are 22 amino acid letters in the chemical alphabet of life.

"2. Twenty-Two letters are the foundation: He engraved them, He hewed them out, He combined them, He weighed them, and He set them at opposites, and He formed through them everything that is formed and everything that is destined to be formed." (UJM p. 21)

In addition to the numerical and functional analogies between the amino acids and the Hebrew alphabet there is a category coincidence as well. The letters of the Hebrew language in the Sefer Yetzirah are arranged into 3 categories.

3 "Mother" letters: Aleph, Mem, Shin
7 "Double" letters: Beth, Gimel, Daleth, Kaph, Pe, Resh, Tau
12 "Simple" letters: He, Vau, Zain, Cheth, Teth, Yod, Lamed, Nun,
Samekh, Ayin, Tzaddi, Qoph
The amino acids and punctuation codons have many chemical properties by which they can be categorized, but the simplest property describes how they behave within their watery environment of the cell. The amino acids can be described as either hydrophobic (water hating) or hydrophilic (water loving).

12 Amino Acids are Hydrophilic: Serine, Threonine, Tyrosine, Histidine,
Glutamine, Cysteine, Asparagine, Arginine, Aspartate, Glutamate,
Lysine, Glycine
8 Amino Acids are Hydrophobic: Valine, Isoleucine, Proline, Leucine
Phenylalanine, Tryptophan, Alanine, Methionine
Since Methionine also serves to mark the starting point for translation on the mRNA strand, I put it in the "Punctuation" category along with the 2 stop codon groups. Therefore the 64 codons of the genetic code, those that code for amino acids and those that serve as "Punctuation" (start & stop), can be put into the same number of categories with the same number of items in each, as the letters of the Hebrew alphabet.

3 Punctuation groups (2 stop groups, 1 start group [Methionine])
7 Hydrophobic Amino Acids
12 Hydrophilic Amino Acids
This curious coincidence of similar categories was very useful when the time came to match up the individual Hebrew letters with their corresponding amino acids.

I do wish they'd clarify exactly how they translated the 'first layer' of DNA into what is being claimed..

Had to stop after reading the first citations. If we replace the H with the chemical it becomes HNON....which proves YHWH is in DNA.

I wish there was button to justify how hard I am laughing now. Great Idea for a thread though.
But impossible to justify as your quote shows.

This may be the least bit compelling if it explained:

1. Why RNA and DNA have two different sets of nucleotide letters, AGCU for RNA and AGCT for DNA. Is it the DNA or RNA set of nucleotides that somehow magically lines up with YHWH? Oh, right neither do because...
2. Why, if these two things correspond in some magical way, does YHWH have two of the same letter and the nucleotide abbreviations for either RNA or DNA do not? And furthers...
3. While there are 64 three-base "words" that can be formed using each of the DNA and RNA nucleotide letters, they all actually contain the letters found in the DNA or RNA nucleotide sequences. Can you explain how YHWH and GOD correspond to nucleotide base arrangements if none of the letters found in GOD are also in YHWH, and that they're not even the same language?

When we substitute modern elements for all four letters of YHWH’s ancient name, we see a result that, at first blush, may be unexpected. Replacing the final H in YHWH with its chemical equivalent of nitrogen, YHWH’s name becomes the elements hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, and nitrogen (HNON) — all colorless, odorless, and invisible gases! YHWH tells us that in the form of hydrogen, the single most abundant element of the universe, He is a part of all that has ever been, is, and will be.

So you're not really substituting anything for any logical reason, just saying that since there are four letters (really three letters with one repeated...) and four elements that make up the nucleotide bases in our DNA, you can somehow draw a lazy correspondence between the two? And where's carbon? Carbon just get conveniently left out, even though it provides the backbone for all organic compounds? This is just numerology for the mathematically incompetent.

Counting the stop codons as 2 seperate groups there are 22 amino acid letters in the chemical alphabet of life.

More shoehorning. "Hebrew has 22 letters, we better figure out how this has 22 things in it!!!" So somehow the amino acids that are coded for are letters, but the ones that code for stop are also letters? And how are they claiming that there are two groups of stop codons? There's three -- TAA, TGA, TAG.

This "curious coincidence" that is only the result of making up nonsensical rules to mash things into categories to make them match up is amazing. This seriously makes no sense. If you're going to play this categorization game, then it should be:

1 special group, start / Met, that serves as both punctuation and an amino acid
3 punctuation groups, all three stop groups (seriously, how did they miss that there are three???)
7 hydrophobic amino acids
12 hydrophilic amino acids

Oh, but then there's 23 letters and 4 groups, which wouldn't work... but wait!

You can always shoehorn start / Met back into punctuation, but then you're just arbitrarily assigning it only half of its significance. Really should put it in BOTH punctuation AND hydrophobic:

4 punctuation groups, one start and three stops
8 hydrophobic amino acids
12 hydrophilic amino acids

Oh, but then there's 24 letters and 3 groups, only one of which has the same number of "letters" as the group within the Hebrew alphabet, which actually makes it worse...

Seriously, this is just the chemistry version of numerology. You're just throwing feces at a wall until something sticks, regardless of how much or little sense it makes. This is up there with the other thread someone just made about how the planets aligned on some random date in 2012 matching up with the structure of pentacene.

I started learning about DNA in my Biology class in college and I think I found something wrong in the OP:

Scientist discovered a “map” of four DNA bases that carry the ability to sustain life. These bases, known as chromosomes, are paired differently for each person. Human DNA contains 23 pairs of chromosomes,

These three sentences don't make sense at all because:

Chromosomes are not the bases of DNA. Chromosomes are "coiled" DNA found in Mitosis. The person who wrote that probably got confused with the nitrogenous bases that connect the strands of DNA. There are four nitrogenous bases in the DNA (Guanine, adenine, Cytosine, and Thymine).

I dont know what the person meant when he wrote that the Chromosomes are "paired differently for each person". Chromosomes are not paired differently. Maybe he meant that the nitrogenous bases are sequenced differently for each person.

It also says that human DNA contains 23 pairs of chromosomes, which is wrong. DNA doesnt contain chromosomes, coiled DNA is what we call chromosomes. Its like saying eggs contain omelettes. DNA is just a sugar-phosphate backbone (the strands) with Nitrogenous bases (G, A, C, and T).

This type of logic reminds me of that one south park episode where they are trying to track something down and they draw all these crazy connections based on equivocation. I wish I could remember the exact episode, but the logic is like this:

Let's see, it has been missing for 7 days. 7 days, like a week! Weak, like people who are not strong. Strong, like steel. Steel was used in the construction of the library. Libraries have books. Books have pages. Pages contain words. A page can have 150 words, so the house number must be 150.

I know I'm greatly cheapening it by not having a direct quote. Does anybody know the episode I'm referring to? It was way funnier than my example above. For some reason I thought it was the Towelie episode, but I looked at the transcript and it's definitely not it.
