OP did not mention observing any feet?

And the OP confirms that the creature "shriveled up", like a slug, upon life termination.

OP did mention being able to see them too later in the thread after i pointed them out. they can be seen clearly in the picture OP posted( on the right hand side) of the little guy. slugs aren't the only insects that will shrivel up a bit after they die. caterpillars are also susceptible to their skin getting all shriveled.
