Recently there was a thread of "The American Psychiatric Association was Bullied into Removing Gayness from the DSM"

Almost all the posts followed the "about section".

There were a couple of "drive by posts", but I would say the ones for and against the OP moved the post along. There were tons of well though out
links to medical journal articles and other stories. So why was it pulled?
There wasn't any hate speech. Question of is something a mental disorder, isn't hate speech. Plus, there are always tons of
Conservatism/Liberalism is a mental disorder posts that never get yanked. So debating if something is a mental disorder has precedent. So again, why
was it pulled.
I cannot find anything it violated in the "terms and conditions of use"

Then after 5 pages of one of the better recent ATS threads, this message pops up
"Closed for staff review."
Should it not say "closed for staff review due to __________________". This sounds like a news dump that happens on a Friday before a long
weekend. Let the post fall from the boards, and hopefully people will forget about it. If one cannot say it violates ATS rules, then it would be a
personal moderator's decision, and is there any consequences if the moderator acted as a lone wolf? I think the ATS community deserves better.
