Thousands of bees swarmed through a suburban Phoenix neighborhood, stinging six people, including four who had to be hospitalized, before firefighters drove them off with foam and fire hoses.

One of the victims in the Tuesday evening bee attack in Gilbert, Arizona, was a firefighter who was stung 40 to 50 times after the insects got inside his special protective hood, said Mike Connor, a deputy chief with the Gilbert Fire and Rescue Department. The firefighter was among those taken to a hospital for treatment.

The bee swarm sent residents scrambling into their homes, where they were advised to stay by authorities as crews closed down a residential street to battle the amorphous cloud of insects.

It wasn't that long ago, there was a reported huge bee die off; now they are swarming and causing serious injury to citizens of Arizona.
Couple this report with the strange animal behavior in the PNW and perhaps we are experiencing the predictions from revelations in the Bible [plagues] or evidence of climate change or sometype of other Earth based anomalies.

The bees are getting revenge from when we were all kids and poked their hives with sticks and ran.

A heartfelt sorry to my slower friends. It was fun though!

One large swarm does not a plague make.

Ha, I remember the electric fence trick where you make a chain holding hands and the guy on the end is the one that had never done it....he gets a nice jolt.

Do any of you watch 'zoo'?

Its about animals getting revenge on humans for what we've done to them in the past. Its pretty good.

Violent animal attacks upon humans are occurring all over the world. Jackson Oz, an American zoologist who offers safaris in Africa, begins to notice the animals' strange behavior and takes it upon himself to solve the reason why before these attacks become more coordinated and ferocious

isn't there a tv series out about animals attacking humans all over the world? it would be nice if mother earth/nature has a way or ways of punishing mankind for harming her other species, for a change! so many thousands go extinct ever year, no?

speaking of which, how is the bee population doing? they are so vital to our food supply... hope they aren't threatened!

doesn't benadryl help as an emergency treatment to the histamine storm, when injectable corticosteroids arent yet avail?

Those damn bees-they cross our borders, sting our workers...tsk tsk.

Before you know it they'll be forging visas.

Round em up and send them to board rooms of pesticide makers. If necessary, seal off all oxygen when they've finished attacking.

So they messed with a hive and paid for it. They forgot to put in what kind of bees it was.

What is it with you Americans? You post all over ATS that the bee population in America is going into extinction then "whoosh" all of a sudden a whole swarm appears to attack people. Maybe they are zombie bees.

Look out! It's The Swarm ...

But they should have used flamethrowers instead of foam.

I do. Incredibly stupid show and the whole idea makes zero sense and is completely illogical, but I enjoy it.
