Really depends on circumstances though... This is likely to be kept in military circles and courts. Things go wrong in combat. They knew the risks when they signed up (reporters)...thems the breaks...

Does anyone have any information regarding the U.S pilot that bombed the Kurdish & U.S Spec. Forces convoy in northern Iraq?

I remember that BBC war reporter John Simpson was injured there and he said that it should have been obvious they were friendly.

A fair few people were killed I believe.

I have not heard anything about the pilot being discharged or anything though, so i have a sneaky feeling he got a mild telling off and is still in service?
