sign of the times? my first reaction was that this reminded me of driving by food banks at nyc where people would line up waiting and waiting meanwhile families of just 2 or 3 exit with like 3 shopping carts full and food even falling out their carts as they load up their luxury vehicles, whilst it seems the skinny and less 'pushy' end up stuck on line and probably get the leftovers.

if u haven't seen some videos of the airstrikes and warfare going on in Syria, please do it puts into perspective why practically the WHOLE NATION OF SYRIA is being forced out of their homeland due to the generous armament of rebels compliments of possibly mossad & US.

shame, bloody shame what these people have been forced to do to survive.. flee

and then be not well-received but hey anythings better than being blown to bits in ur own house, no?

Well, to be fair, since over 70% of the "refugees" are able bodied men, it looks like they threw out "children first" long ago.

You also forgot to mention the portion of your video (that plays twice) which clearly shows the police doing their best to hand out food to the people in the front of the line in addition to throwing some into the crowd.

Go take it up with Stalin.....I mean Putin. The only thing prolonging the misery of the Syrian people is Russia propping up failed tyrant Assad.

As mentioned above , there are a lot of young men in that video and they aren't rushing the food back to young families .

I cry every time I listen to the news lately. This whole situation saddens me deeply and I can do nothing to help as I am struggling to feed my own family and keep a roof over there head with warmth and light. I feel so lucky to live where I am. It makes me cry at the warmth and generosity of the German people, well the media I see. It makes me cry to read all the negative comments I see on this site about the plight of the refugees of Syria. My tears would fill your luxury swimming pool in your desert city of the states. This is not directed at you personally OP.

The refugees are all MEN, able bodies, strong and often violent men. Why aren't they keeping this food and sending it back to their wives and children whom they left behind? I'd die for my family. Would you?

Be aware that most of these people DO NOT want to be here and will not assimilate at all. Have you not seen the docus showing these people attacking aid trucks and GIVING BACK perfectly good food because it's 'not up to par'.

I feel for these poor people, I really do, but they're a class act of how NOT to go about letting people help you, and they REALLY need to go back for their families.

They're not even capable of forming a line like is required. If they did they could COMMUNICATE with each other, you know that thing we all do, and then divvy out the food equally. They're not doing that they're hoarding it and then using it for power rights within the small refugee camps and groups. These people have the completely WRONG mentality. Yes they're victims and need help, but they're also impatient, rude, aggressive, unable to help EACH OTHER and unwilling to listen to reason.

It's a lose - lose situation now. I know they're desperate, but even if I'm desperate I don't push someone else desperate out the way to fill my own face. Sharing is caring, no?

Towards the end of the video you can see a lady in red hair gives something she catches to another lady who tried to go for it. There are still some good people out there. It is truly insane to watch

It does sound horrible, doesn't it?

But please look also, at the videos of what has happened to the volunteers who tried to distribute food to these refugee camps.

They wanted to give it out to people, to make sure everyone got some. So that the individuals emerging as powerful bullies within them will not hoard and take more to use to sell or use as a way of enslaving the others.

They were violently over taken and it repeatedly gets out of hand violently. A few end up with boxes and boxes of food, having looted the trucks, and the weaker ones (mainly children and women) continue to starve.

The situation is not at what idealists would like to imagine.

possiblly throwing food to the back to stop people surging forward where the food is been handed out, the story sounds far left, the comments sound far right and the refugees are stuck in the middle.

This isn't a left or right issue, don't make it one.

This is simply an issue of basic human behaviour. These people are desperate but they're acting in a way that's counter-intuitive for those who want to help them. Who's going to help someone with the fear of having your vehicle stolen and the food used for leverage?

Looks like a pigsty full of potential terrorists... They (the majority of people, "refugees" acting up in the vid) don't look too concerned for the very few women and children present.

How else should food distrubution be handled regarding these people? Should they just walk in, and expect a uniformed "line" for them to stand in to get food? I'm sure there is a reason this very thing didn't happen. Violence is obviously prevelant here... Are these people really "war-torn peaceful refugees"?? It sure doesn't look like it, It's like a prison riot scene.

I feel bad for the few women and children there who need food.

I see nothing wrong with this video and the distribution, the unfairness would happen if they gave it all to the people up front, would you rather they be whipped into single file line and one at a time recieve food?

Sounds good, but the application of such a system you would also disagree with, seems to be the most reasonable way to pass food within a hungry mob.

there is no way to control them without infringing on their rights. Remember the yin and yang middle ground is not a straight line it's curved.

They are doing the best possible thing they know to do.

Explain further please. I am NOT FAR RIGHT, neither was my statement. It was one of common sense. So, does that make you FAR LEFT now for being a douche?

That explanation means nothing and is nonsense.

What are you even saying. You say you're not making a left, right situation then did just that.

Come on man.

They are used to being told what to do so why not do liek they expect? MAke it so they have to go through lines to get the food. CAge lines work well to make sure its one at a time single file.

OR th e more controversial way is to go in with the military and threaten them into submission and compliance. tel them in no uncertain terms you are in our land now either you do as we say or we ship you back home...in a box if needed.
They are used to force. mean? yeah. effective? yes.
