What type, if any, relationship have you both agreed on. If it is that new 'friends with benefits' thing, then all that means is you'll do for now, until something better comes along.

Best to let him go and move on. He can think you've got better things to do.

Please don't let him know how much he upset you - he shouldn't know he had that much power.
