Not so much late to ask an interesting question., I believe.

I think that quatrain of Mitchel of Nostradamus refers to the physical location of the Pope in the moment of the cataclysmic event.

Why?

Because there are other prophecies that suggest that and I know are from an extremely good and reliable source, from a person that is in level of Sanctity that only few have ever reached in History. She was a mystic German Nune, a woman that was a religious person along all her adult life, who was made Doctor of the Church by H.H. Pope Benedict XVI.

There are a series of visions of Saint Hildegard von Bingen that lived in the middle ages (1098 – 17 September 1179),that refer to what is called the minor and great chastisement, that will occur in apocalyptic times, and they talk also about the fall of a giant asteroid or comet in one of the oceans of the world, and her visions also seem to point to the Atlantic ocean.

Von Bingen has been called, due to her great ability to foresee the future, the Sibyl of the Rhine, was a German Benedictine abbess, writer, composer, philosopher, Christian mystic, visionary, and polymath.

The problem with the prophecies of Hildegard is that I am sure they are going shock many of my readers in America, for the simple reason that she foresaw that a great nation in the other side of the Atlantic, she was living in Europe when she wrote that, was going to collapse as a consequence or at the same time of this terrible calamity, and well many of her modern interpreters believe she was referring to the United States of America.

So, this is a very ancient prophecy that I warn you, is not going be really popular here, first because it seems to refer to the Protestant reform not as the most holy thing that ever have occurred, to the contrary, but as a terrible Heretic movement.

Now, to show respect to your question, I am going to quote it here. Please remember the visions of this nune occurred about almost 400 years before Martin Luther was born in the same country:

I am a scientist in my daily life, I work in research for one of the leading universities of the country, in telecommunications, control and automation. About a decade ago I worked in one experimental center of Gravitational waves astronomy sponsored by NASA. So I am of course a person that is minimally familiar with the precision and sensitivity of the most advance equipment exist to track moving object in the outer space.

I think we have had a lot of progress in to be able to screen a lot of potential collisions, but we must recognize that we have more ahead to do than we have achieved. One case that shows this is the the asteroid that struck moon in 2013 and the meteore that exploded on the Ural region of Russia.

Neither of these two events were really predicted by any station on earth, any observatory and not detected with enough anticipation by any satellites, just were observed when they happened and so recorded with cameras, they took really by surprise the scientific community.

The energy released by the September 2013 impact was comparable to an explosion of roughly 15 tons of TNT. It was at least three times more powerful than the largest previously observed event — a powerful lunar explosion spotted by NASA scientists on March 17, 2013. During that crash, a space rock hit at an estimated 56,000 mph (90,000 km/h), carving a new crater 65 feet (20 meters) wide.

The Chelbyabinsk meteore was not predicted at all, neither by America, Russia or European space agencies.

i say this since the amount of just new comets that have been discovered in only the last 2 decades is overwhelming, so to claim emphatically that we have the knowledge to say that nothing is going to appear in the horizon close to earth in the next hundred years is really dared, in the best of the cases, anyway extremely arrogant and not very professional.

Well if we believe the in the prophecies of the some famous seers Mitchel of Nostradamus and Hildegard Von Bingen, that were largely discussed here in this thread along weeks on 2015, this meteor would mark the approximate epoch in the time line of the occurrence of a great international conflict around the world, the so longly expected WWIII , forcing the Pope to change his office far from the Holy see, and a major natural disaster of cataclysmic proportions harassing probably important cities on coasts of the USA and on other countries around.
