Some People (poem)

Some People

Some people keep the magic all to themselves,
Hold onto it tight.. give it to no one else.
They refuse to pass the knowledge along,
When they move on , it is forever gone.

Afraid it'll ruin their social or financial standing,
They won't help another man, be all he can be.
Fearful he will do better, then what they have done,
They keep silent and never pass their knowledge on........





Some people let the knowledge flow,
Share everything, all that they know.
Try to help everyone...that they can.
To make this world better, for every man.

They seek to advance the human race,
and minimize the problems that we face.
Leaving a legacy that is hard to define,
But will prove itself valuable, over time.

Which type of person do you choose to be?
I ask this question... out of curiosity.
Are you looking to just take care of yourself,
Or are you always trying, to help others out?

I share what I know. I believe we should give.Sometimes we learn things that we don't understand, until someone need's it. As we sometimes do need it.
