ATS, are you sure you are not causing pop up adds?

Re the above,this is just wrong.I'm on Windows 7 with Chrome as my browser and I've not had one single pop-up on this site in the year or so since I bought this PC and installed a fresh version of Windows.Completely stock windows with the exception of the free version of Avira anti virus and Windows updates switched off.For me Chrome is the only one that does work as I'd expect it to on my PC,phone and tablet without any real problems.

I second Firefox! When using Internet Explore, i get blasted with popups and all types of advertisement. I installed Firefox for the first time 2 weeks ago and its been pretty much no advertisements except for that little banner on top of the page. Download Firefox and see if that resolves your problem.

When I use ATS on my tablet I get constant pop-ups on every window I open, every single time. And it's kinda hard to press the little x to delete them sometimes, and so the pop-up will open. It's real annoying.

You're not very good with people skills are you? Does it really matter in the grand scheme of things how I answer as I long as I give a relevant answer?

All I'm saying is that for me and countless other people across the world,Chrome isn't a mess and works just fine as it is.

By the way,coming from a 'writer',you're not much of a 'pro' spelling Chrome as crome are you,just saying?

Chrome .. any browser for me, without a little tightening of the nuts and bolts after assembling, all do the same.

Except microsoft Edge. Oh my god, did they really steal Maxthon Nitro browsers minimalist end user experience? no addons, no customisations, pretty much "Here is a browser." and thats all it does. Good for a kiosk I suppose.

Yep. Mozilla and Microsoft are copying Maxthon. We started the lightweight/spartan browser trend. In March of 2014 we kicked off a project to create a *very* lightweight browser with minimal feature set and SUPER performance. We knew that if we simplified the UX load and all of the processes that needed to exist to support skins, plug-ins and tons of other features we could make the core speed faster.

Good stuff, I'll stick to firefox that allows me to browse the web and not just be confronted by it. Which means no ads

Every time i open ATS I get 2015rewards.com open a page asking me do a survey pretending its from my internet provider.

I solely log on with my cell and the ads are annoying and I often accidentally click them.
Maybe this is the plan? I can't imagine anyone on this site would actually deliberately click the ads so perhaps the ad companies are being super aggressive!!
ATS needs to take charge of this situation and soon.

For a site that said it would never have ads to then have ads is one thing, but when the ads are affecting your users negatively and causing them not to visit or to complain like this (and there's a new ad thread every week until you close it and merge it with the main ad thread) then something needs to be fixed.

For persistent ones, (those that usually create another tab), if you can nab URL or IP address just make an entry in your hosts file like:

127.0.0.1 URL or IP

The second approach usually becomes futile if they change URL's or IP's constantly.

Hey, you said the words that gets lots of users banned. How come you are not banned? Inconsistent moderation again. Add the annoying adds and its clear to see ATS is failing. It is not a patch on what it once was. Whats happening guys. A conspiracy site with NLBS that basically ridicules conspiracy believers? WTF. A site redesign that makes your eyes ache trying to read the text after just 10 minutes. Adds galore and inconsistency with moderation. Which is confusing for members. After all these years visiting ATS I can sadly say is has not improved one bit, it is getting worse. Sad days.

You need to go re-read my post about ISP ad injection, tell your lawyer to read it as well, you both might also want to read the TOS (Terms Of Service) of your ISP, I bet they're allowed to inject anything they want into your service, of so it would likely be in the really fine print though...

That said, what you're describing should not be coming from any of our ad networks so it may be worth a look into your ISP's TOS and see if you have a leg to stand on.
