Random thread replies showing up in my inbox that are not addressed to me .

I was going to private message this to the staff ,however i wanted to know if anyone else out their is experiencing the same issue.

This is not the first time this has happened , I just finally decided to take screenshots and see if I might be able to find an answer .

Please note the screenshot pics might be hard to see .

So every once and a while i receive a thread reply message ,click on it to find out the reply is addressed to someone else in the thread . This only happens in threads i participate in .

The first pic is of the "thread reply message " dated on the 17th of AUG a message that for some reason decided to come through today ?
Another mystery ? messages arriving weeks later lol ??



The second pic is of the reply that was directed at the thread in general and not me.

Well , is anyone else experiencing this Phenomenon? am i just missing something ? am i nuts ?

It just means that someone clicked on your post to reply but changed the entry.

The original record gets created and the relational key points to your account.

Some folks do it intentionally or manually enter replies that won't prompt the respondent since the record is orphaned or misattributed.

It is a normal bug (if it can even be called that).

How about the notifications coming in weeks later ?

Probably maintenance, process queues, etc.

I have noticed if the post they are replying to is the last one on a page, when you click the link it takes you to the top of the next page..
